Seriously, I just love the mature responses and outlook from the viewers. But it's also because a lot of the people here can actually have constructive criticisms and aren't so blinded by their adoration for the characters that they disregard character flaws. I have seen too much of that happen in other drams. It's toxic.

Writers, I need y'all to make Ashile Sun the standard or at least the bare minimum when writing male characters. None of this toxic, drag her by the wrists, make her suffer, kill her entire family, cause misunderstanding without talking it through, act irrational when she gets her freedom, punish her for shit out her control, petrol her physical and mental wellbeing. We want healthy, independent and capable leads.

Agreed. I wish the writers had just stuck with the manhua in regards to Mimi and Mu Jin. Not every character needs a love interest nor can love be the only type of companionship that stimulates a person. The Khatun role had so much potential to be the "snake in the grass" type of character but the interpretation by the actress just doesn't convince me too.

Agreed. I've seen it too many times to go gaga over them but their individual character traits is what i like most about them not the pending romance. I find that international audiences ship the main leads more whereas local audiences prefer the second lead. I just want everyone to find their path onto happiness especially Changge. Since the first episode, I've just wanted to give her a warm hug. To go through so much adversity yet still find the bright light at the end of the dark tunnel, is beyond admirable. Princess Yicheng could've learnt a thing or two from Changge. Two very similiar paths, very different outcomes.

I like them as individuals and not so much in association with each other. I guess I'm too old for the kind Princess and cold hearted guard trope that audiences gravitate towards . But here in the drama, they are essential part in moving Changge towards the path she needs to take. In some instances, I do agree, Leyan was lost waay to long. They could've done more there in terms of that plot line

On the Great Khan maybe but Du Ruhui is well, yeah lol The actor himself is handsome but the comment was a tad off considering he was about to die. But I guess, that's part of Lady Jinse charms lol

It's more that they have saved each other from hardship and danger. This is what I love about these two. They are equally capable, physically and mentally, of saving and protecting each other. A true power couple.
