That's why many who do, choose to be producers on their first project because at least they get to have some creative control. It's a mix bag of reasons why directors choose to avoid drama stars in general - one for the above reason, because they genuinely want to hire great actors for the role or the casting character knows who they want before and traffic are not at the top of the food chain regardless unless the transitioned early. I think she needs to revamp her team. They are missing an edge but I feel like she is bidding her time.
