Even if I don't like some character's actions (like Dan, past Black), I still don't really hate them. I can't bring myself to actually dislike them because the writers/directors just made them so round and human, that I can't totally say I wouldn't do the same if I was in that position.

I got mad at them and how their actions affected other characters, but they're all in such a tough position. They're literally putting their lives and the lives of the one's they love on the line, and with that pressure I probably would do some questionable things as well. Being in such a tense moment also doesn't help with seeing outside the picture and just wanting to protect those around you, even if it means they won't hold the same respect for you. You just want to know that you loved one's are safe.

i feel there's pretty bad communication from both of them, with ha-ri not saying the truth in the beginning (understandable), and then tae-moo knowing and wanting her to confess first.

if they only talked things out and told each other what's going on, hopefully since it's only 12 eps this will probably only last until next week and then we'll start seeing more of them in a relationship and those things will smooth out!

i agree that it's a cheesy show and has many of the typical tropes of old kdramas with overbearing ceo's, but i personally think this is pretty well made, the mains have insane chemistry and i'm personally enjoying it.

it's not a show meant to impress, but rather quietly enjoy and just have a fun watch without having to think too hard while watching it.

but i def agree that you need a certain mood in order to watch it!

does anyone know if there's gonna be kissing scenes in the drama? if i remember correctly RJL said he wouldn't do more kissing scenes after marrying? just curious

i'm so glad this has 12 episodes and not 16-20. i feel like the story is going somewhere all the time and there's no excessive drama or subplots going on. also the support characters are super nice! i hope we get to see more of them

i think so too! i don't believe there's any other gmm drama that could fit after this one. either some are confirmed for later this year or haven't started shooting.

i've been kinda following since it started airing and i'm currently up to date and i'm honestly loving it! it's pretty different from bad buddy and pretty much any other bl out there, but it's really well done and i personally love gun's characters in the series. he's insanely good at acting.

as far as relationships i won't say too much but i love the chemistry and how it works with the plot. it's not romantically driven, it follows an agenda of activism and i think it's super super good. each character is well written and their actions make sense most of the time.

i'm so excited for the finale i can't wait, i honestly have no idea how it will end and what to expect!

It's adapted from an original novel that (among many many other things) includes a romantic relationship between the two main characters. But since there's a censorship in China, there won't be any implicit relationship between them.

The show will probably include some little details that imply that reference, similar to The Untamed or Word of Honor. If you have watched other wuxia and found them "enough" to fit in the BL category, then this one will too.

That's if they don't have to cut too many scenes, since I believe new regulations from the government were issued and it's gonna be more difficult to add little details to the story that make somewhat obvious they're in a relationship. I saw somebody some time ago mention that they might have to add a female character, which I hope not.

If you're still not too sure, try watching the animation that's on Netflix, it's really pretty and I think it covers pretty well the main events of the first novel and you can also see the romantic (very slightly) part of the story. I believe the second season is coming later this year as well.

i just binged the first 9 episodes today, it feels so light and nice to watch! i wasn't expecting so much chemistry between the cast

i still don't understand the rating system in mdl, i just saw the highest rated drama currently, (move to heaven), and the stats are awfully similar, yet bb has a 0.6 difference? is it only because fewer people have rated this one? but then it doesn't make much sense because there's dramas with a 9.1 with lesser views than this one.

anyone knows how rating works in mdl? i'm just curious because i've seen it happen in other dramas, specially bls.

Duea's reactions resembles so much as someone who's being abused and it's making me so uncomfortable watching them interact.

I wanted to like this, I just saw two episodes and I really didn't like anything except a couple of things. It's a great production and the cinematography is nice, but I'm getting such toxic traits from a lot of scenes and I feel everyone so out of character most of the time. I guess it's just not for me so far.

I mean Zee would probably have chemistry with even a rock, but the pairing with New feels kinda off (not sure why bc offscreen they seem reallt comfortable). Same with MaxNat, I don't get why they haven't introduced their storyline and it seems so forced whenever they're together.

I knew it was gonna be an arranged marriage and maybe a little bit of toxic relationships, but it kinda beats me with all tue violence and second-hand embarrassment I'm getting at some points.

I'll keep watching it probably when it ends airing so I can binge watch and have a better opinion on the series. But I'm kinda disappointed if I must admit T_T.

for real, that's far more concerning rather that them not releasing internationally. the planning for this drama is weird from the start, they're releasing 2 episodes per week and now not promoting internationally. ot seems as if they want to get rid of it and throw it under a rug asap.

Right! The no talking scenes are also kinda off to me, it's almost uncomfortable. And the ratings really need to increase.

I'm surprised of the low ratings! So far so nice, each couple is slowly developing and I feel each got a good amount of time. I love Saen characters, he lights up the whole mood, his relationship with Aii is for now my favorite one. Fah and Thorn are suuper slow but I'm really digging it, I hope it will build a strong relationship between them in the future.

I sadly don't like Dome and Vee's relationship. Might be the whole sister's boyfriend (a long relationship I believe too) thing. They also give me weird chills and I'm not too invested so far. Not sure if anybody else has the same issue with them.

But production and story is a 10/10 for me so far, after so many fast-paced BLs I'm loving such a light-hearted one.

I'm so so happy with the last episode. I'm glad they didn't go for a break-up and having to get together in the last episode since it would have felt rushed for sure. They kinda had me in the first two halves, but those looks they were giving each other and the fucking smirks!!!

I feel they kinda put back some things that were happening in the first episodes (like secret relationship and grabbing hands when no one was watching), but more in a fun way and not in a drama way. Which tells a lot about the relationship they have built in the 4 year time skip.

I wished they included a little moment between the families, but I'm happy they showed how individually they're okay with Pat and Pran dating and being boyfriends. They're terribly bad at hiding their relationship, I'm sure the friends also knew about it and played it cool in front of them so they wouldn't feel bad about it.

It was so nice watching Bad Buddy weekly (even the 2 weeks during xmas that were horrific) and I'll miss it so much. I was so sad when it ended, and then happy for the extra fluffyness we got in the extra scene, and then finally sad again when the Enchante preview appeared and not the next episode preview.

Also thank you so much to this comment section since you all made the wait worth it and I had so much fun reading the comments and the conspiracies from every week episode <3
