I really love those little moments we get to have a glimpse into the mother's psyche. It's obvious that she has some unresolved feelings of resentment towards her own mum. Like when she told the grandma that she didn't coddle her the way she does now with the grand kids, and in the episode before, she told Ho Su's mum that their childhoods just aren't the same so she doesn't get to tell her how to feel about her own mother. It makes so much sense why the mum herself is struggling to treat her kids properly. It's a cycle that she unfortunately couldn't break and ended up hurting both of her girls, not just Mi Ji.

A pilot sometimes refers to the first episode of a series. It can also refer to a standalone episode made to gauge whether a series would sell before the entire show is made. Here, I was referring to the first episode of the series.

I have only watched the pilot, but it really hit home for me. When you're working, it sucks the life out of you. When you aren't, you feel like you're behind and everyone has an advantage over you. It's tiring and hard either way, especially when your career is what determines your worth in most parts of the world. At the same time, loitering around can be fun at first until reality hits you and you're suddenly "too old" by job market standards.

Yeah, that too. I chuckled a bit when one of them (probably Sun's brother) told him that he was the smartest in the house after they discussed the plan. If Sun is the smartest, I don't want to know how dumb the others are, lol.

Why is Sun not concerned about his fingerprints that were planted on a knife? I am surprised none of the crew members brought it up even though they saw it and were there too. They are really sloppy, and I am surprised they even lasted this long.

If I were to describe to you how much I hate Ek, it still wouldn't fully convey my hatred. This man is so audacious in ways I didn't know were possible. He kept chasing Wan knowing she isn't into him at all, proposed to her, cheated on her, and then kept trying to win her back. As if this wasn't enough, he introduced what's his face to Pleng to drive a wedge between her and Wan. It's like that one mosquito you keep trying to swat but it just keeps coming back to bite you. He couldn't take "no" for an answer when he should have walked away during their teenage years knowing Wan was clearly disinterested. Winner is annoying too, but he isn't on the screen for nearly half the time Ick was.

I meant that we didn't see a shot of Kenta getting in, just him leaving the car later. At 36:00, we see Kenta looking at Kim. At 36:01, Kenta is already in the car and they are getting chased by Tony's men. It's not a big deal, just a bit funny.

Pete is so extra, lol. What's with the Way photo next to his laptop? Am I missing something, or did these two characters speak like four times in the first season? Reminds me of my delulu middle school years when I would create a family in my head with the person who lent me an eraser.

Ok, just a few thoughts (might come back to edit if I am itching to add something):

- This is probably the lamest turn of events for Babe, Charlie, and Willy ever. Yet another misunderstanding as if season 1 wasn't littered with those between Babe and Charlie. The preview wasn't even giving at all because we can already guess who's going to win the race. Hell, Milk is introduced at the very end of the opening credits, so that should tell us something about how big of a role he is playing. Again, why? The story line adds nothing to the plot except have us watch Charlie supposedly be "angry" but it's him wearing the expression of the poker face emoji. Besides, is it Babe's rite of passage to get harassed by a different character each season?

-There were plenty of ways to insert Willy into the plot for his powers, but they just decided it was great to make him into the Temu version of Vegas from KinnPorsche. It's sad because he is so fine shyt and has this crazy charm about him. They could have done much more with his character.

- The writers are yet again testing us with the "mama" and "papa" thing. The only good thing that could come out of Babe and Charlie fighting is not having to hear this for some time. It's already cringe, but it's even worse when you have this done often in BL to try and fit a gay relationship into a straight box. Guess they haven't heard of two dads and two mums yet.

- I am sorry to Pop, but every time I see Winner, I just remember Ek and get so mad. I am just glad Ek is off my screen forever.

- Are Sonic and North happening soon, or will we end up in an Only Friends adjacent universe where Willy and North are endgame? Not that Only Friends even took it this far.

- Did Kenta really just teleport into Kim's car? I was laughing so hard when I rewatched the scene to check, and it was confirmed that we didn't actually see Kenta getting in.

- Someone please clue me in about this whole omegaverse business. Since there are men who can bear children, are there also women who can impregnate other women? I mean, we have clearly seen that there are women in this universe too, so I wonder if it works the other way around too.

I am just going to pretend like this show is campy. There's no way they looked at that teleportation scene and thought to themselves that it doesn't look absolutely ridiculous. The vibes throughout are also very inconsistent. I feel like we were led to believe that the series will have a certain atmosphere judging from the pilot, but by episode 5, it was just something else. I haven't gone past that episode and will most likely not do. I have to thank the editors though for the laughing fit I had while watching episode 1.

Those kiss scenes were very underwhelming too. It was the same for Pluto despite including an NC scene. Not surprising considering it's GMM 25.

Just started this, and I love it so much. It's weird because I wasn't as invested in popular GLs (besides Gap) that everyone is raving about. The audacity of Khun telling Four that she is making Jattawa uncomfortable though when Jattawa had to turn back time so she wouldn't hear his confession lol. The kisses in the fourth episode were good, though! I am so happy they didn't end up deadfish kissing.

So I am on episode 1, and the kisses aren't giving. The acting is good and so is the chemistry, but decent kisses sell me on relationships in series and are a must. Do they perhaps get better later?

I am on episode 3, and all I can say is that this series held my attention very well when I am struggling to finish or enjoy other ongoing and older series of a wide array of genres. I wasn't expecting much going into this because the rating is low compared to other ongoing BLs/GLs and other series I am watching, but I was proven so wrong. It's definitely not perfect (awkward Korean and English dubbing), but I love the revenge story line, and I am rooting for Sun as much as I was for the main leads in One Ordinary Day and Blackout. I also have to mention that breathtaking scene at the gallery paired with the music; it was a perfect setup for what will probably be a whirlwind of emotions in every aspect. I am very intrigued and hope it keeps up the formula for the rest of the series.

Honestly, agree. The scene and the acting might not have been particularly good, but the criticism should be about that, not the inclusion of a GL couple at all. There are many beloved GL couples in BL drama, and it isn't the first time it happened. Sounds like some people just can't handle the existence of gay and bisexual women in media because their relationships don't turn them on.

Penny and Jun's nails, though, especially Penny's. It will definitely not be smooth sailing down there. Seems like the plot is just that this company hires horny people.

Finding out Suzy Choi's actress is homophobic has put me off finishing the series. Why play a gay/bisexual character if your religious values don't align with that then have your husband post homophobic statements?

I just don't understand the point of the whole Babe and Willy storyline if nothing is going to come out of it. It's reminiscent of the second male/female lead that never stood a chance in kdrama and romance novels. At most, Willy is going to kiss Babe by force and get punched by him or Charlie. It's like they ran out of ideas for BabeCharlie, so they are introducing a new character to add some spice to their relationship then have him fade into irrelevance. It would have honestly been better if they hadn't introduced Willy because many viewers are drawing comparisons between the two pairings and seeing that Willy has that X factor with Babe that Charlie and Babe are missing as a couple. At least many would have just resigned themselves to the fact that it's only Charlie we are ever going to see Babe and moved on.

Ek must be one of the most annoying characters I had the displeasure of watching over the last period. So, this man knows Wan has never been into him, but he proposes to her anyway, cheats on her, then acts like the victim. I saw some people on discussion threads saying that he was used and that it's sad. Right, but to what degree can one deflect blame when they got themselves in this situation to begin with? The woman couldn't be more repulsed by him, and yet, he keeps harassing her and acting psychotically. How many times does Wan need to spill it for him to understand? Ick is making the series very hard for me to finish because I just want to reach through the screen and punch him.

Wan is also not helping her case by saying that she married what's his face because young Pleng told her so. Huh? That's unreasonable. I get that they're trying to show Wan's undying love for Pleng, but you mean to tell me that this woman couldn't find a single person whom she is at least slightly attracted to besides Pleng to marry, and instead, went for Elk (sorry to the animal for this comparison)? Don't even get me started on Pleng's decision to work for him when she knows that Wan is clearly uncomfortable with it. I get it. She needs money, but why work for the one person with nefarious intentions? Both Wan and Pleng knew why he offered the latter a job, and yet, Pleng brushed it off, and now we have Ick running amok acting homophobic and psychotic.
