Somehow it seems like I'm the only one who didn't enjoy this drama and found it rather boring.
It could be boring for some people because this drama missed something (EXCITEMENT). This drama is very focused, no side storyline, good script, good acting. I started this drama yesterday night and I am already on ep 11 so it's a good watch, it's just that I am watching it because I want to know what happens next, but I'm not excited to know what happens next.

Brah I might be, no I am being a brat why is the video quality of this drama so bad when the drama just came out a month ago? It's a good drama, great cast and storyline so what's up with the video quality. It says 720p hd on all the sites (kissasian.com, newasiantv.me and drama3s.com), but it looks like 360p.
I can't imagine anyone else playing Mishil. With Mishil's eyes and smile, you knew shit was bound to happen. I also loved her as Ms. Go such an amazing, talented and beautiful actress.
I really have to applaud Korean entertainment for manipulating history in this way and making a genius/creative story out of it. I'm happy I finally watched this drama. 8.5 BUT I'll give it a 9 because I finally checked it off my check list.
I really enjoyed the latter part of this drama because if it wasn't for my curiosity I would have dropped…
Yeah because in the beginning it seemed they were going to focus on the heroine story, but it wasn't clear what direction the drama was going because it was focusing on too many side plots. Finally halfway they picked Yan Xun story to stick with and things started to fall in place. Also I noticed the first part was mostly wuxia and the latter part was just regular martial arts.
I really enjoyed the latter part of this drama because if it wasn't for my curiosity I would have dropped the drama earlier on. The war and action scenes were spectacular.
honestly i loved it at the beginning, but after yan xun's family was executed, i started disliking this drama…
I just didn't see the drama going anywhere in the beginning, but I didn't want to give up on it. It was until 5 eps after the execution that I finally saw a clear story line and actually began to like the drama. I really enjoyed the war part.
is it just me but I can't stop watching even though this drama is so boring. I'm on ep 24 and im still…
The uncut version. I don't need romance to be able to enjoy a drama, and the action parts are my favorite scenes. I just felt that they were really dragging that scene of him refusing to answer the majesty decree. Like they spent almost two eps on it, I get that what happened to him and his family was fucked up and he was resilient and persistent through it all but they did not need to spend that long on it for him to deserve to get his revenge. Overall I really liked when the thunder struck cuz it seems like things are finally going to pick up.
seems interesting but 50 ep is a dub because you know with a drama like this even though it's going to be exciting and fun you know so many misunderstanding or irritating events is bound to happen. I'm going to have to mentally prepare myself for this and wait for it to be completely subbed.
edited: I reccomend the movie Inside Man before or after this drama, alot of the same cast acts in it.
