Novel isn't very good, quite bland so if they have changed hope it's changed for better
I disagree. I just finished reading the novel, and while it gets tedious at times, this is exactly the type of novel that can translate better on screen than it looks on paper if it's in the hands of a capable screewriter and director (especially because the number of episodes, which means they wouldn't have to cut or rush major plotpoints). It really gave me a Story of Minglan-type of feeling and I loved the aesthetic of the released clip so I was really excited, but I mostly lost interest after seeing the official synopsis, names of characters, previous works of the screenwriter and the fact that even the comments are saying that it's basically a separate thing from the source material. There's nothing I dislike more than screewriters who take decent to very good novels and completely rewrite the whole plot. It turns out worse 99% of the time, particularly with cdramas (just this year I was completely dissapointed by The Grand Princess and Yong'an Dream). And why even call it an adaptation? Because they are afraid of plagiarism accusations? If they think themselves so clever why don't they write an original script from scratch? And of all changes, they supposedly decided to make Liu Chang into a pitiful SML just because they want to push his actor in the spotlight? YIKES. He already had a much better ending than he deserved in the novel, but this is too much.

The drama's costumes look so ugly. Makeup and hair made all male actors look 5-6 years older. Yuzheng is so bad…
Yu Zheng is a pos, but his recent shows actually stick pretty close to historical accuracy when it comes to costumes. I can't stand the man, but at least I know there won't be any men with ponytails/loose hair, women with their hair down (unless it fits the era), neon colors, sequins, plastic jewelry etc, if the drama is connected to him.

I prefer someone among 95 flowers or any new fresh face in palace drama and has good acting skill.I know that…
People get upset with the age comments, but I agree and I've said the same thing in this comment section multiple times. Shen Miao starts as a 14 year old while Xie Jingxing is around 18, and the novel ends when they are in their early to mid 20s. It's ridiculous and visually jarring to have actors who are closer to 40 than 20 playing literal teenagers. As for suggestions, I'd say Lu Yuxiao and He Landou would also fit Shen Miao well. It's hard to find an actor for Xie Jingxing, but it definitely can't be a traffic star who is more popular than the FL.

Coincidentally, I also just finished the novel and the audiobook! I enjoyed it overall, but the story is kind…
If you think keeping silent is an example of crazy jealousy you don't live in the real world (and you also haven't read many cnovels). He does and says NOTHING BAD to her, he just gets quiet when HY keeps hanging around CZ, who is the disciple of his mortal enemy, with whose crazily jealous daughter (as in kill any woman who even looks at CZ) he also happens to be engaged. And really, most of the so-called jealousy is just XJ first suspecting her of being a spy and later him being angry that HY keeps ignoring his multiple warnings about XPT (she doesn't actually understand what he's talking about bcs she is pretty clueless when it comes to feelings and personal relationships). He literally tells her at some point that "You can like anyone but if you like Chu Zhao you are courting death."

I don't get your comment. Xiao Jue isn't actually that jealous and the best thing is that even when he is, it doesn't come across as toxic possessiveness, but it's almost endearing and always harmless (unlike what happens with the other 99% of MLs in cnovels)

I'm actually annoyed no one is casting Dylan Wang for XJX. He has the stature and the vibe; his DQC was impeccable…
Dylan Wang is too popular to play second fiddle in a female centric drama. Casting him would mean a complete rewriting of the plot until it becomes unrecognizable (like Who rules the world). Someone like Alen Fang would suit both the character and the drama itself better. He can be mischievous and flirty as well as serious and deadly. He's popular but not so popular that he'll monopolize the drama, and he lacks a rabid fandom that will harass his partner bcs she isn't pretty enough, popular enough, talented enough etc for their idol or the production team bcs he isn't getting the screentime, plotlines, styling (and so on) that they think are his due.
And do you mean Pei Lang with the "Pei Li"? Again, someone like Gong Jun is never going to play the 3rd ML and he doesn't suit the character either. Pei Lang is a quiet ancient scholar; honestly, Gong Jun doesn't even fit in period dramas (like that saying, he looks like he knows what a microwave is).
I agree that Lu Yuxiao would be a good Shen Miao and I prefer that Gao Han suggestion for Fu Xiuyi.

I liked liu yu ning in journey to love but here Iam hesitant, I don't like him nor I hate him, many of the times,…
They are both too old for the character. Xiao Shao is 20-21 at the beginning and close to 25 by the end of the novel. But both actors are in their mid-30s and look their age.

i think Xu Kai and Zhao Li Ying is a good pair for ML and FL. i just hope they do justice to adapted it
For the first part of the novel Shen Miao is an adorable 14 yr old girl with chubby cheeks who can even be mistaken for an 11 yr old at the beginning; Xie Jingxing is about 18. For the second part she is 17 and he is 22; they are around 20 and 24 in the last chapter. By the time this drama will start production Zhao Liying will be close to 40 while Xu Kai will be over 30.

There is one on wattpad just search for “rebirth of a star general”
This translation [https://lazygirltranslations.com/rebirth-of-a-star-general/] is up to chapter 145 and two new chapters are updated every seven days. And here [https://novelhi.com/s/index/Rebirth-of-a-Star-General] is a complete version if you are impatient but not that well translated. Still nowhere near MTL level so you should be able to understand perfectly what's going on.

Your opinion ISN'T a fact
Well, you are the one acting like your opinion is a fact. You don't get to state that "that movie was so bad" and then get upset when ppl point out that your feelings aren't universal. Obviously, actual film critics don't agree with you. The +5 million people who got out of their homes to watch it don't either.

A young woman has been forced all her life to pretend to be a man to replace her sick male cousin, including when…
He Wanru wasn't her cousin (they just have the same surname), and the murder was planned by He Rufei and executed by his men. HWR isn't the one who killed HY. But she is still a despicable character, after all she took so much pleasure in watching HY die. And even told her that she was pregnant so the poor girl had to live the 2nd life with the knowledge that she lost her baby

I mean, the plot is pretty silly, the acting is cringy at times, there are way too many coincidences and impossible…
Most of this comment makes no sense. It sounds like you aren't even watching the series.

My list I’ll Love to see being the lead are Bae In Hyuk, Jung Hae In, Jung Jin Young, Kim Min Gue, Kim Min Jae,…
Kim Min-jae and Park Jin-young are in the military for the next year. I usually prefer actors of similar age in romance dramas so I'd choose either Bae In-hyuk or Jung Jin-young. Maybe Kim Bum too. But Kim Seon-ho, who is almost 10 yrs older and looks his age (not saying he looks bad in any way) is a no from me.

Maybe. That is a big possibility. I personally think that his characters and stories in Arthdal Chronicles are…
So late, but I really have to say that you sound so petty. KJW also refused to return so why are you only having a problem with SJK and even refuse to watch his future projects? This series was so badly received in Korea and by big parts of the international audience (who also saw it as a big joke and GoT ripoff) that it ended up bringing nothing to their careers. On the contrary, it almost ruined opportunities for them; they were both extremely lucky to get those redeeming roles in Vincenzo/Reborn Rich and My Liberation Notes and bury the association with this drama. Why would they return just to make happy a very small (but loud!) minority of people when so many bad experiences are connected to AC?

How tf Reborn Rich got received a nomination? I couldn't even watch after 8 episodes. It was that bad.
Your OPINION isn't a fact. Reborn Rich is the second highest-rated drama of all-time with insane numbers on streaming services + one of the most critically-acclaimed dramas (except *that* last episode) of last year. It was a HUGE success. Just Lee Sung-min's performance is enough to make it one of the best Korean series ever; and now I wonder why he didn't get a nomination too.

Wan Peng would be great in this !I hope it’s true (and sorry, but I’m not a fan of Wu Lei : please dear fans,…
I'd love to see something like "Love like the galaxy" being done with this one (except for the rushed ending). I didn't read the original novel for that one, but I read ROASG and the female lead is the only main character with the male lead basically being a secondary character who only appears when interacting with her; so I wonder if they can really do a more balanced drama while still maintaining the focus on her (apparently this was badly done in "Who rules the world", but I hope they can do it well and not ruin my favorite novel on screen). It would be great to see more of Xiao Jue. I loved seeing his point of view even if it was limited to about half a dozen chapters out of +200.
