Waiting for next episodes and pondering... The fact of editing and shorter episodes isn't the main thing we should focus on. I see captivating and quite understandable plot, very good cinematography and acting, interesting relationship dynamic. I'm enjoying it.

Middle-length dramas can be good too... But yes, this one is so good that I'd like to get more.

Binge-watched episodes 11-20 in a few days. I was hooked from the very beginning, but after ep.15... Awesome! The story gets better and better.

I see people mention shorter duration of episodes, that a lot was deleted... However for me - after watching first 10 eps - this drama is very good so far. I see nothing wrong with sequence of events, portraying the characters, aesthetics etc. I'm just enjoying it as it is. Let's see what's next!

I didn't like LJ in the beginning too: arrogant, cold, scheming. But after 10 episodes I think he started changing... And he is more complicated than it seems at first glance. So I recommend you to continue watching! This is what we all expect from good drama, character development, right?

Currently up to 14 eps. I like how they are gradually showing us Ye Wenjie's story, I'm enjoying it. The script is very very good.
