I personally think they were still alive after getting injured so badly is because their will to live was the strongest. Even though Aguni wanted to commit suicide, he couldn't do it because at the end of the day he wanted to live. And we all saw Akane had the most difficult first game and still survived. I think she actually had the strongest will to live. Like she said she wanted to survive no matter what happens.
It might also have to do with the fact that all the people that got to live in real life even after almost dying or had died were people that had very strong minds and they wanted to return back to the real world. We don't know if Ann was actually dead at the end in borderland. She could have heard the voice inside her mind and gave the answer, and she must be very close to dying or giving up that's why she was in the worst state in the real world.

Yes, it have the happy ending for the main leads. The overall plot of the drama is really good and unique, I enjoyed it. It's a funny drama with a hint of mystery and crime, so don't expect too much serious stuff at the starting episodes, things do get a little serious after 5th or 6th episode and storyline also gets more interesting. And no matter how absurd things seems at the start, everything will make sense towards the end. The writer did a great job of wrapping the story up, and answering all the questions in the end. So if you're in a mood for comedy drama with good crime storyline as well, then watch it.

It's more like the mystery plot which started this season is solved till episode 14. And after that in the last 2 episodes another new plot with twist started. Which will likely be continue on season 2. Honestly i was satisfied with the ending, but yes it was a cliffhanger or more like start of a new chapter. I highly recommend to watch this drama it's one of the best.

My most favorite character in this drama was Dong Mae which was played by Yoo Yeon Seok i think it was one of his best acting which he showed by playing the role of Dong Mae, his character of Dong Mae is very complex and complicated one something he haven't done before. If you are his fan you shouldn't miss his amazing acting and character in this drama. but yes his character have a sad ending, it was understandable given the whole storyline besides he is present till the last minute of the last episode. If you don't want to watch his sad scene just avoid last 2 episodes only last 2 episodes are sad.

I also didn't like the male lead in Voice 1 for me he was just a typical reckless normal detective nothing special about him, i loved season 1 for it's best villain and murder cases. I think you should try watching Voice 2 and Voice 3 It's really good and there's a new male lead there who is more useful and intelligent than the female lead, and he have this psychopath behavior too, and he can catch criminals so easily, It's like he can look into criminals soul and know who is the killer.
