Only the essence is kinda the same. The drama adaptation has its own characters and stories to tell. And I'm glad because so far this has been an excellent adaptation.

Well. The beauty of it is exactly that. After all, we are all humans. We all can be potential wrong-doers. And the story tries to show their human side. They can be loving to their own but at the same time they can be the worst monsters to others.
