Mars or Maerie, feel free to refer to me as whichever. I am a college student who has been watching Eastern Asian dramas since 2015. I mainly watch, Chinese, Korean, and Japanese dramas (in that order, though I started them in the reverse order).

When I am not watching these shows as a hobby, I am writing stories alone or with others through roleplay. And needless to say, I love reading and collecting books (old and new). As well as novels and series, I read manga, manhua, manhwa, and webtoons/novels.

And I do take suggestions for what to read and watch if you think I might like something!

• Romance (I am always looking for romance in a drama, and less likely to watch it if it does not have it. However, this does not mean I won't watch dramas without it.)

• I am very drawn to well written and chemical relationships in dramas, romantic, friendly, or familial.

My ratings are majorly subjective. I always rate something first on how much I enjoyed the media piece first. That part is the most important to me because this is all for fun for me.

After that comes how much I was invested in the work, and the chemistry between cast members and especially romantic co-stars, followed by the writing, and acting.

I am generally forgiving on a lot of things but hard on things that I cannot or will not defend (serious topic or not haha). I will also not that I am critical in discussion of most things I enjoy too.
