The performances by both leads are exceptional, delivering captivating and heartfelt portrayals. However, the story feels repetitive and lacks originality, resulting in a somewhat bland narrative. The relationship between the main couple is unsettling, primarily due to a significant and uncomfortable age gap. Additionally, the female lead is portrayed as a stereotypical, plain princess who must sacrifice herself for her love interest, which feels outdated and uninspired. The series, while decent, earns a 6/10, dragged down by an excessive number of episodes that could have been condensed for a tighter pace. The demon couple subplot feels forced and unengaging, and the inclusion of the demon lord seems unnecessary and poorly integrated.
One of the best idol dramas. A solid 9 I would give a 10 if they cut the drama and clean up some story mistakes. Also can we all colective agree that teh ML si a green flag. Such a powerful and support couple so refreshing seeing the chinese dramaland. If have doubts about watching but you love powerful woman, and strong healthy romance with a good politic story line, give this drama a chance. I love this drama so much taht I put my best friend ( she doenst watch any asian content) watching and she love it
The drama is a solid 7. What push my score down is the lack of communiaction beteween the main couple and the fact they decied to write a dumb female meal in half of the drama, becuase no one can convicence myself that she wansts awere of the half tow face man she was dating or loving in the begining, If they corret that and make the story more politic focus I would give the drama a solid 10. And I belive it was too long.
Both are hits! Goodness! Just because the other drama placed 2nd doesn't mean it's not a hit anymore. Top 1 and…
Unfortunately, there’s a tendency to bring women down rather than celebrate their successes. It’s disappointing to see efforts to pit these two remarkable actresses against each other when both are respected talents in China. Why compare such unique styles? It’s a shame this comment section misses the beauty of diversity in the industry—each artist brings something invaluable, enriching the world of entertainment in their own way.
Love Game is truly a masterpiece, and Esther has shown her remarkable range and growth as an actress. In the early days of her career, many saw her as simply 'cute,' even 'annoying'—yet look at her now. Her expressions, her portrayal of emotions, her depth—she’s truly evolved into an extraordinary talent. Let’s stop comparing women, especially when both of them rise in their own unique ways. It’s disheartening to see fans turn everything into a competition. As for Lusi’s recent drama, it wasn’t her fault the script fell short. Her talent is undeniable, but no actress should have to carry an entire story alone.
in what dimension?😂 everyone knows that Lusi has the biggest fan base, both internationally and domestically.…
Followers alone don’t define true stardom. What really shines are brand partnerships and lasting brand presence. Esther’s been in the industry longer, and her fanbase is solid and loyal. As for Lusi, she's talented, no doubt, but sometimes it comes down to the script—and unfortunately, hers didn't do her justice. So, while follower counts are impressive, it’s the impact and quality of work that leave a lasting impression.
I real like Hua Shu, not to annoying and not cunning. She is a very good villain in my view. She manipulates people in other to make her father happy and to benefit her realm. The drama is a solid 8, the script is good the acting isn't bad and the development is done well. I just wish for more romance. This drama is the type that people need to watch to be able to create a proper opinion. Also be aware that the FL lead is very sweet and as cute voice so for some people she can be extremelly a naive and kind annoying same can be said to the Ml since is playing a imature and inexperience son of a true god. Not bad like poeple say but not the best I watch
watched the drama after reading the comments. I don't get why people didn't like ML or thought he wasn't treating…
The Ml real as development and treats the Fl very good. Compare to some Ml that were toxic and treat FL like crap I don't see how can someone see this man as a toxin. I understand that he is quite mature sometimes and little slow in understanding some scheme, but he never treats the Fl like crap or even was physical abusive or emotional so I don't see either
Seeing the comments here makes me smile a bit. He needs to comeback one of the best actors of SK, he was literally killing himself with all the drugs he was taking. And most importantly, he may start to get addicted due to medication for his cancer. I want him to go to america or any western country, we don't care about drugs. He is such amazing actor what a waste of potential for an addiction.
It’s not about Netflix or America it’s about how all drugs r illegal in Korea like u can’t be caught with…
Funny not so fun he was doing drugs for the pain because he was fighting cancer.. He isn't just drug addicts so YA, self-righteous can kiss my ass with him. Amazing actor hope he goes to America because in SK people even through food on him...
I was really expecting a lot for "Goodbye Earth" since it's the first kdrama about end of the world and I really…
You really don't understand him at all. Did u know he was suffering with a cancer and get an addition to his meds ?. Yes taking drugs is wrong, but in his case he was addicted to it because of pain. He doesn't need judgements and people throwing him food or Bareges on him, he needs help. And he willn't cameback after what media and koreans did to him
My Journey to You: A Riveting Blend of Espionage, Romance, and Intrigue"Title: "My Journey to You: A Riveting Blend of Espionage, Romance, and Intrigue"
"My Journey to You" is a 24-episode original drama series created by Guo Jingming, weaving a captivating tale of love, espionage, and self-discovery. Set in the martial arts world of jianghu, the story follows Yun Weishan, who infiltrates the Gong family for a mission, only to find herself entangled in a web of conspiracies, hidden agendas, and emotional revelations. At around 1 hour per episode, some may find the duration a tad lengthy, but the series masterfully melds elements of espionage, intrigue, martial arts, and romance into an engaging narrative. It's a rollercoaster of emotions, keeping viewers on the edge of their seats.
The high-quality production values shine through in the cinematography, authentic sets, exquisite costumes, and well-executed action choreography. The drama's colour palette, dominated by dark tones with hints of white, gold, and red, adds to its visual appeal.
The ensemble cast delivers remarkable performances, with Yu Shuxin and Lu Yuxiao standing out. Yu Shuxin's versatility shines as she portrays a complex character, while Lu Yuxiao's subtle expressions bring depth to her role. Tian Jiarui impresses in his debut performance.
However, the drama does have its downsides. It loses some momentum midway, leaving viewers with unanswered questions. The male lead's weak characterization may disappoint some, and the ending may leave you wanting more closure.
I must say is a solid 8 it could be better if the story was more well written and if they give a better ending ( even though for me was perfect)
I'll leave a mini review here for those who want to start watching the drama and just want to know if the story is any good. I think the episodes are too long and you'll find yourself skipping parts because you just can't stand the slow pace. On the other hand, the chemistry and personality of the female character will make you want to stay. It's worth pointing out that she lost her entire family and came all the way back with a job, so don't expect her to be cute and sweet with someone who killed many people. I think the most challenging character in this drama is undoubtedly the demon prince, as you find yourself empathising with him. Still, his narcissism and lack of empathy make you wonder if he's not manipulating you too, and I think that's what makes this drama so innovative. It makes you wonder if he's a victim of circumstance and has lost the ability to love and feel emotions, or if he really is just a narcissistic and purely cruel person, so be prepared for a man who will kill everyone in the name of his personal vigilance. The story so far is a little weak, but these characters deserve your full attention. Rate a 7 I will give a comment in the next part 2- I watch 10 episodes so far. China should start imposing a limit to time length of drama for real 50 min is to long
I would definitely recommend it, although you'll need to prepare for some heartbreak. I personally loved it, but…
It depends, I was really enjoying it until I got to episode 9. Let's just say that the attitudes of the male protagonist make me feel like I'm being manipulated into believing that he's a poor man, but his attitudes are more like those of a sociopath with a victim mentality. I have to see more to assess whether he is a sociopath or someone who has never really experienced compassion in life and needs time to learn how to deal with emotions. But I dont regret a little, I just think the drama could also be shorten in terms of length of episodes.
