The only thing that kept me going was the bromance between Go Nam Soon ( Lee Jung Suk) and Park Heung So (Kim Woo Bin) & believe me people when I say its totally worth spending 16 hours just watching these two<3

I watched the two & like you said they were both very good dramas I admit ... but I think City Hunter is better , I mean I love Lee Gang To so much but his character started to ruin in ep 18 , I didn't like the fact that everyone come to know his real identity eventually , the beauty was that it was a secret & he had to fight through it , while in City Hunter I hated the end , but it was somehow more realistic for the hero more that Bridal mask & I think Joo Won did a very great job in it but the one that should be getting the acting award is Park Ki Woong , he really made me fall for Shunji more that Lee Gang Too he mastered the role
But like you said these dramas are very good & a must watch one !

I love the whole dramathon & I can do it even when I'm re watching some of my favorite .. also I love to see some of the airing dramas but the thing is you got caught in it for the whole week & you can't watch anything else , like now when I'm enjoying Nice Guy but I can't watch Arang cause I can't seem to get Song Jong Ki of my head !
