obvious one would be pusuit of jade -
but the best i read the last few weeks would be "The Road to Glory" was really intense and good.
If you want to read something more light i would say "Legend of the Female General"
Some other, Coronas Diary, Love of the divine tree and the Princess Royal.

PS: They are Historical but not so much Political expect for "The Road to Glory". They all have some political things in there but not as much as a focus

maybe I will give it a chance next. but the summary did not give me a vibe to read so far.

ml and fml where nice. fml a a really good character growth. and liked it that it wasnt like a happy family thing where everyone was happy in the end 😅

there are some misunderstanding.. ml is not really an empathetic person so and not one who bows his head for anyone. so they had in that regard a lot of problem. * you can see him as an ass or not.to the midlsunderstanding - he was jealous of a long time friend of her and well her friend died and he did not show much sympathy.. and then she basically broke lose from all her emotions.. they got back together ** but they never where really together in the first place** then there was an competition intern for a higher positions she lost this position to another one because she wanted to get judged in a fair way... (he was in the votings)after she lost it she thought he voted against her..that was a little bit contradictory - she wanted it to be fair but also wanted to get plus points from MLin the end she just left because it was to much for her and to find herself again..I am more interested how the people will see the ml. or if he is completly different. for some it will be a toxic guy for other yeah sarcastic ass who doesn't show his real feelings.little bit long hope you understand it all.. and i wrote it on the phone..

he was just way more overprotective over his sister and just disliked ML for no reason in the novel. his attitude was like "he wants my sister i just have to hate him"
So not a bad person but annoying😂

I like them too so much! it was such a switch up from the novel with zeqiu😂 in the novel he just annoyed me

I like the noodle shop boss actually so I wouldn't mind 😂

couldnt they let him have his long hair for the rest of the drama?
