In a recent YTlive (end of Oct 2023) Na PD together with P.O reacted to a Q regarding NJTTW S09 and Na PD said that due to a number of reasons they couldn't film season 9 (since 2021, when they planned to film it), but the crew and cast members remain close even to this day. He ended the answer by saying that they're "considering the program as a possibility open for further discussion."
So at the bottom line, Ns PD hinted that they may resume production for S09. Nothing affirmed.
The chemistry between the leads, their relationship development and the way they portray their attraction to each other is so worth the watch! I also like the characters personalities, it feels more authentic than othe bls in my opinion.

No, KG isn't "out". In the gym scene, TJ repeated the sentences that KG said that implied that KG likes him, such as "Don't provoke me"; "TJ, I asked you for a favor (not to provoke me)" when TJ did things that crossed the line (intimate-wise) like caressing KG ear (in Korea it's a way to flirt) or trying to hug him. It does seem like TJ kinda knew that KG likes him, or at least he had a strong feeling about it (which explains why he had the courage to confess) but KG was never "out". The first time KG admitted he likes TJ (or boys in general) was at the second to last scene with HM.
I bet TJ recked the room out of anger, pain, and frustration, I have a feeling he went outside and met PilHyeon and now they are somewhere (maybe the hideout?) talking. Since Pilhyeon saw them and all... why would they write about him catching them? it must connect somehow... It seems like the kidnapping speculation does make sense but production-wise it costs a lot of money (new location, more extras, and characters...) so I don't think TJ got kidnapped hahaha
what happened in the end of ep6 when KG went home? did THJ run away? I couldn't tell from the screen.
The room was messy. It seems like either TJ had a tantrum and left or the other speculation is that he got kidnapped: he left the studio alone, he's the only hair to a high class business and it took KG some time to go back to their home which means there was an opening (for people to kidnap him).
It's really unfortunate with the whole COVID-19 and the filming as airing kinda thing... The plot sounded really cute and it had so much potential to be one of the more loved series but it lost track and got all messy... at this point I don't think the series can be saved, maybe if they'll pull a "tharntype special cinema episode/movie" they could redeem themselves... Still love both couples tho. bummer.
I believe it will be around 14 episodes. The production promised fans 2 more episodes for reaching #1 trend on Twitter and gaining 500K views on episodes 9&10. And also I'm assuming because of COVID-19, they'll want to "makeup" for all the kinda like filler episodes... I hope?

I was surprised to find out that the series is STILL being filmed. That's also the main reason why the lasts two-episode barely had any SaifahZon in them (the production said that they wanted to add the aftermath kiss scene of SaifahZon in ep 9 but they didn't because it wasn't yet filmed). It also explains why they keep offering more episodes for hitting #1 trend and numerous views.
With that said, I have no doubt that the production is heavily affected by COVID-19 outbreak. I do know that some pivotal scenes have already been filmed because the actors talked about them. I really hope they'll manage to film the series as planned and not compromised by using too many flashbacks etc... Good luck to all of them and I wish they'll be safe.

Absolutely, both options have pros and cons. the pros for official subs are that they're fast, though arguably fansubs can also be fast and not all series get official subs fast (we used to wait at least 3 days for subs, it wasn't like nowadays). And I also hate the commentary fansubbers add, some add too much and comment about EVERYTHING which is totally annoying (tho some of them are really funny hahaha).
In the end, I'm grateful to get official subs. And for a more accurate sub meaning, double meaning and puns; fansubbers still upload videos about them (via YT or IG) so I ain't complaining only expressing an opinion
You know, I must say I prefer fansubs rather than official subs. As much as I'm grateful that the official source actually uploads subs and think about international audiences, fansubs have more "touch" to them. The fansubber subs in a way that conveys also the emotion and hidden meaning and not only literally what the characters are saying. The fansubber also adds translation notes to explain puns and double meanings, unlike official subs.
I can't suppress my love for Green hahaha I don't find him annoying at all, I think he's the cutest thing ever. His facial expressions are my favorite thing about him haha

I know how hard that scene was to film and how tricky it is to connect so many cuts from different takes so that's why I'm more forgiving for that scene. That specific scene is really messy to film, You can't make and the actors can't perfectly reenact a "passionate" scene, and because it's a kiss having their make up smear is unavoidable to some extent. Let me tell you that: actors touch up (makeup) is a total b*tch. I'm not saying that it's okay to let it slide but I just know how annoying it is to touch up while filming all the time. such things are actually more common then you'd think.
Most of the scene is shot in extreme close up camera distance which translates (in cinema terms) to focusing mainly in not only on facial expressions to convey emotion, that's I don't mind and "forgive" the messy arm cuts.
