I'm actually so relieved. I was starting to feel like the most annoying person for not liking it, almost like I was just trying to be different from everyone else. But I really didn't like it; I didn't enjoy anything about this drama. Whenever I remember having to watch a bunch of elderly mages bickering over a stone for almost 15 minutes, all that annoyance comes right back.
What is there to say about Alchemy of Souls? I don't know what happened, but I couldn't connect with any of the characters. Mu-deok seemed promising at first, but over time she became boring and a bit listless. Seo Yul was unbearable and lacked any charisma; Park Dang-gu is annoying, a gossip, and clueless. I swear I was rooting more for Mu-deok with the Crown Prince (Go Won) than with Jang Uk. I found the story dull and dragged out; I believe it only succeeded because of the excess of handsome men wanting a single woman. It is way too OVERRATED, and honestly, I have zero interest in watching Part 2.
They've completely shat the bed with episode 11 considering there's only one episode left. That's an episode 11…
I think you're exaggerating a little. Honestly, if it were 16 episodes long, it would be too slow and they’d just settle everything in the last episode regardless. I don't see any major flaws that take away from the show's beauty and plot. It’s all working perfectly!
Wow, I’ve never felt so sad about an episode like this one. It was heartbreaking; I cried so much. I’ve never felt so much rage toward a person like I do with this doctor. I’m so mad at her! I wanted to jump into the TV and force her to tell the truth, but she’s just helping to sink the boy even further. I won’t be able to wait until next week.
I don't know, I just can't bring myself to like anyone in this drama. I only keep watching because I hate leaving things unfinished. Everyone is so apathetic!
