Concubinage! ?? what a word to use in this context!! Why? It is ok to love the main characters and fan-girl after them. However - Why should we put down other side characters - like this? Is this the tolerance you are requesting for your main characters - double standards maybe! This comment is only to request for more kindness to all - hopefully you will take it in the right way- 'maybe there is a point here' -way
P.S. I have read the novel and it is one in my 'best list' and these side characters are not my favourites too --due to their actions later in the novel. That doesn't give one the right to twist them into a derogatory word - like concubinage. Put them down with harsh words when they do some harm! But - don't twist normal scenarios through a biased lens.
