Happy New Year, everyone! Back again with my thoughts on this episode.
The feels in this episode… Once again, the direction, cinematography, acting, everything about this series is a masterpiece! kinda sad knowing the show is about to end in just a few days. We won’t get to see these two precious babies anymore. I’m really going to miss Junsei and Kenshin together. Their chemistry is off the charts and set the bars high! hoping to see more of Kenshin in future projects, as well as Junsei.
My goodness, what an emotional roller coaster it’s been watching this. I’m so glad I read the manhwa beforehand, and I was beyond excited when they announced the live adaptation. Kudos to everyone who made this possible, amazing cast, crew, editors, and all the staff involved.
Looking forward to more incredible JP BL series in 2025. That’s all for now. Stay safe, everyone, and see you all for the final episode next week!
Hey y’all, commenting until the end of the series! AAHHH!! The directors really hit us with the separation plot and then immediately hit us with their reunion in the next episode! The feels in this episode were off the charts! The emotions, the pacing, everything was just perfect. The whole letter sequence was incredible. It started with Minase, transitioned seamlessly to Hirukawa, and finally concluded in the most heartwarming moment. Even though we all knew Hirukawa liked Minase, the way he admitted it through the letter was absolutely heart-melting. Ahhhh! Too pure, too innocent my heart couldn’t handle it!
Another masterpiece of an episode! That’s all for now. See you all for Episode 9!
Hello again, commenting as always on every episode!
Once again, the show absolutely delivered! Even in the manhwa, the teacher was irritating and downright clueless, they got that spot on. The entire sequence of Minase running toward Hirukawa’s house to comfort him had me in tears, ugly crying like a gremlin! I knew they would deliver on that scene.
Junsei’s acting in this episode? Phenomenal. My gosh, this kid acted like his rent was due! The emotion, the sheer intensity, it was heartbreaking to watch.
I can’t even begin to imagine how hard it must be for people to experience this kind of pain, to lose someone they love. And Hirukawa.... oh, Hirukawa, even at his lowest point, he remained so selfless. Despite carrying all this pain and suffering, all he ever wanted was to live a normal life. But it feels like the world is so cruelly against him.
I’m going to need more tissues after this episode. With only 4 more episodes left until the finale, I’m not ready for this journey to end. This series has been such an emotional, beautiful experience, especially because it reflects the hardships that happen in real life.
That’s all for now. See you all next week for Episode 8!
I was curious as to what they would replace the bullying with, and the theft was quite successful as a substitute…
Agreed! They handled the change so well. I legit cried when Menase was about to tell the mother how Haruki’s father treated him, especially when Haruki gave him that look to make sure he kept his word. 😭
Heyyy, back again! Commenting till the very end of the series 🙋🏻♂️ because I’m just a sucker for these two precious babies!
Y’all, it’s finally here!! 🥹 I can't even! The feels are about to hit, and I’m gonna ugly cry like an awkward duckling, for those of you who read the manhwa, you know exactly what I mean. The way they’ve been delivering every single scene still blows me away, I’m so ready (but also not ready) to see how they handle next week’s episode. I know it's gonna wreck me!! A lot of "bad stuff" is coming, and I just can't… I wonder how they'll do Haruki’s dad’s death, and the whole separation plotline… Noooo, I’m not readyyyyy 😭.
For those who are worried the show will end badly, don’t stress! As someone who's read the manhwa, they’ve stayed super loyal to it with just a few extra scenes here and there to add more depth. I highly doubt they’ll change the ending, so no worries, y’all. They’re gonna get their happy ending!
Catch you all next week for a tear jerker episode🥹
This show is perfect! They adapted the story so well, even adding more depth to it. The next couple of episodes will be a mix of sweet, steamy moments (that Episode 6 preview can't wait!!), and some heartbreaking scenes. Trust me, when I say I cried like a baby reading the manhwa, I mean it. After their visit to Haruki’s mother, a few not-so-good things happen. I won't spoil it for you, but you can catch glimpses of it in the preview. Honestly, I can't find a single flaw in this series, they truly perfected it. This show is a masterpiece! 😭Anyways, back to my cave, I’ll be binge-watching it again like the gremlin I am! 🥴 see you all next week for episode 6. 😸
I've read the manwha, the series did have some new scenes added to it and removed some scenes as well, my guess is that two episodes from now, probably episode 7 will be the point where they part ways, i cried reading the chapters, prepare yourselves emotionally. 😭
