continue watching once they leave high school it gets way better

not at all. it starts in the future and tells the story of their school days then it catches up to real time

This drama is very close to reality. i also believe one of the lessons its trying to teach is communication with your friends, siblings, parents, partners. they both had a serious communication problem. but she was doing her best according to her high school knowledge to not be the reason he gives up on his dream. especially because they are still young and dont know if they love each other well enough to be together in the future. many times i wished she could express herself more but in life there are people that would rather die than speak what they are going through.

for the first time in my over 150 drama life i was praying for the cliche miracle drugs or doctors to appear and save the day but this drama is as real as it can get

Manipulative yes. Evil no. His behavior was more like revenge because of treatment from his parents.

In their defense he didn’t get bad to get the girl. He just had enough of the unfair treatment he had from his parents and their favoritism. The girl was just a tool for him

So why do they do flashbacks every 10 mins lawwwd!

The female lead lines were limited to “you are p tor “ the first 16 episodes. She was crying randomly and being Cinderella in the first half and then damsel in distress in the second half. Her character development was almost zero. Skip her scenes if you don’t want to be pissed

Okay my observations from the last few episodes. The logic was weird!
1. Why was XF and Adu so forgiving of her shifu when he did the same thing as LCY. I mean before he lost his memory he was willing to do everything to make up for the betrayal so him not remembering and being ignorant is not really his fault.
2. How come she said she remembered everything but was still thinking the shifu was GXW and why was she so sad at his death. If we are assuming she remembers everything she should also know she asked LCY To kill shifu in her anger so why did all this anger disappear especially just for shifu and not LCY.
3. I knew LCY was going to kill Shifu but the manner was questionable. I mean he is trying to win XF love so how does forcing her to watch a million arrows through her shifu help.
4. At the end her whole speech about loving him and all, if she really did she would have let him know what had happen and forgive him and move on. He betrayed her but the war would have been either ways.
5. Lastly the idea of the LCY not remembering and nobody willing to remind him was weird especially after XF remembered everything. It made him ignorant and weak not knowing what he had done and why XF was feeling this way.
