Rewatcned scenes of Flower Of Evil to wash the bad aftertaste away Big Mouth left me with today and stumbled over…
Exactly, everything aside, he should be broken, grieving but no. Even when Miho was talking he had nothing to say. It was just her trying to talk even on her death bed. Given the ML was a sociopath in FOE, he conveyed the feelings of love beautifully. They truly looked like a couple that is in love. But ChangHo and Miho didnāt look like a couple to me.
First of all I would say this drama did a super good job in the thriller. Every episode was full of suspense but it started to go down after episode 12. I was expecting too much may be. But as much as I love this drama there are few things that annoyed me pretty much a lot: 1) The transition of ChangHo from being a goofy and unaccomplished simp to BM was miraculous. I mean, he got accustomed to BM real fast and heās suddenly a strong person who can think way ahead of his enemies. But as cool as he was in prison, he became dumb again in the last two episodes. 2) No backstory for ChangHo. Just few flashbacks. 3) No justice or anything for Hyejin and the innocent psycho. 4) ChangHo didnāt fulfil his promises he made in the cell. He only fulfilled his promise to the gangster lead if Iām not mistaken. 5) Jerry really was just a BM fan and nothing more. 6) No Park really didnāt seem like BM to me so the reveal was very dissatisfying to me. I was expecting too much given the hype on who was BM. But no park just didnāt fit the image of BM. SoonTae has the expression of BM. His expressions were vile and he exuded the aura to be BM. 7) There really was no need to give MiHo that kind of ending. She just didnāt deserve it t all. It all just went above my head. 8) I said it previously and saying it again, that the lead couple acting was just off to me. They looked like they were not in love to me. Even on MiHoās death, ChangHo was composed. Everyone was composed. Yes there were moments between them but I didnāt feel the love. At least not from ChangHo, they looked like friends and not a couple. And it looks like Miho was doing everything for ChangHo while he did nothing for her. 9) There was absolutely no need to introduce a person to the story which they never planned to show on screen, i.e., Chairman Kangās psycho son. 10) Killing Choi Doha by poisoning was just a dissatisfying end for him given his crimes. It would have been better if they filled the pool with chemical water and expose him to radiations so that he dies a slow painful death.
It was one good written, full of twists kind of thriller and was really mentally exhausting specially episodes 11 & 12. But after that it was just plain. There was no hype, no edge and no twists in last 4 episodes. They killed the possibility of season 2 for me. The plot, characters and acting was so good but the ending was just as bad.
PCH was shady af this entire episode. His reaction to Miho asking if he's Big Mouse? His unwillingness to answer…
I noticed his reaction too when Miho asked him if he is big mouse. I just hope heās not a psychopathic serial killer. It will make it similar to Mouse as well. I just hope that he will be the good big mouse like miho said. The writer already played dirty with the doctor wife, then innocent psychopath and now with Miho too, making Changho a serial killer will make this drama fill with villains while killing all the good ones.
Who else is waiting for a last minute twist about BM? Because Iām still not convinced. Iām not disappointed or anything, just not convinced. No Park just doesnāt fit the face of BM. If they made Soon Tae BM, I would still be convinced somehow because he had that expression but not No Park.
I never betted on room leader because he doesnāt have the look to be BM. Heās a softie, IMO. He was a part of BM because he wanted to avenge his daughterās death. And since his reveal I had the feeling that he will be sacrificed. There were tears in his eyes throughout the episode. He even laughed at ChangHo when he said he wanted to live. That was the clear indication that RL is gonna die. His past life was simple. Heās just not BM. His reveal wasnāt grand given the whole drama is revolving around āwhoās BMā. I still donāt think Jerry is BM either. He could just be BMās right hand or something. But I could be wrong. Also the lead coupleās chemistry is going on & off for me. I hoped it was as strong as it was between the leads in Flower of Evil. I am no longer hurting my brain thinking who or what BM is. Just gonna enjoy the remaining 4 episodes hoping for a solid ending that makes sense.
(I got requests to share my theory from reddit over here, so here it is. )"Ok, so I just realized how important…
Yes itās highly possible. Heās been conning everyone from the start (the case in episode 1, people around him and the viewers). Heās composed, calculative and always gives the impression of āone step ahead of youā . He got acclimated to BM real fast. Like heās one. If you see episode 1 you see heās shown way too stupid when he went to ji hoon all by himself, so how can he become so smart in prison and think like BM? He doesnāt seem to be scared at all. Given heās from orphanage itās also highly likely that he might have split personality or something as a defence mechanism. The question is if BM is a good person or a bad one.
Good points! There are too many plotholes at this stage. One thing comes to mind though: PCH was poisoned with…
PCH made a deal with the gang leader that if heās not out of the prison before the gang leadās bail, he will kill him. So BM got him out. Thatās my opinion.
My guess are : they were doing experiments on kids and some awaken(title) powers. 3 kids survived the tragedy…
Actually, your guess makes much more sense and itās easier to understand whatās going on with your guess. And I think Jamieās power is that picture perfect memory where she can go back and analyse the surroundings just like the ML had in Remember: war of son and I forgot the name of a crime/thriller drama where the FL also had this kind of syndrome. During the last part of second episode, when Jamie tried to see where the victim got hypnotherapy, thatās where I thought she had picture perfect memory.
