additional: I believe that if they had released the episodes in a weekly format, a lot of people would have dropped…
I was one of those people that was am glad to have everything released at once cause I would have definitely dropped at some point if it was released weekly
Perfect 10/10! I don't remember when last I Binge-watched whole drama but this one got me all! Kim Woo-bin nailed…
They did make a good choice by releasing all episodes at once don’t know if I would have made it through the whole thing if it was only one or two a week. But being able to watch all in one or close to one go made it easier and easier not to drop. Will still go back and watch ep 11 even though it’s heartbreaking 😅
Happy ending.FL turned into a genie as well, so both ML and FL are working as genies.
I saw, was just trying to discuss since not many have finished yet and was looking to discuss and you mention the whole genie thing, but I’ll leave you alone :)
Funny, Suzy has always been hit or miss and I personally didn’t like her in vagabond but dream high was the…
Would definitely be interested to see how she’s persevered in South Korea as I’ve always found it interesting that sometimes what’s really popular overseas can be largely not as popular in their home country and vice versa
depends if you are easily offended by the cultural/religious aspect of the show or not
So some would consider it offensive because they used the literal story/romanticized it, like in I said previously I’m not devoutly religious so can’t really speak clearly on this aspect but the drama definitely has me interested.

I’m not devoutly religious so can’t really speak to much but I wonder if they had named the character a different name, more people would have been more okay. As at face value I didn’t see anything I’d considered mocking or overly offensive just inspired by. People didn’t have as much polarizing opinions when my demon or other romanticing of naturally evil characters like criminals or that one drama where they romanticized an actually historical person from South Korean history who I think in real life was a tyrant or something
Some people are enjoying, some did not. I think it’s one of those dramas that I really think people have to watch for themselves and make their own decision. Sometimes it takes a couple episodes to get into a drama. One episode might be good and the other bad on and off. Female lead is supposed to not have emotions like a regular human so her acting is hit or miss but chemistry is good and people who were waiting for a reunion since uncontrollably fond have been in general pleased with the pairing. On the fantasy/fiction based in actual religious background, I’m not a devout religious person in this aspect so can not speak to the drama on this aspect. Some people have issues others not as much.
share summary if u can ? spoilers are okay too ;D how did it end ?
Will try to summarize best I can remember. FL bumps into ML when he’s running away from some people and reluctantly helps him avoid them. ML starts to pursue her (typical short drama stuff 😅) we find out FL already has a finance which we know and they later in the drama find out is a relative of our ML. Unsure if cousin or brother. Who Fl thinks rescued her from a car accident, but much later we again find out that this was our ML who really ended up saving her. Fiancé also has some type of money/inheritance plot against of FL with another women. So both men are not really great. I’d say people stay away from this one because of the whole man going after another families finance and his abusive nature which is no less typical of other short dramas with this type of ML. So if that behavior is not to your liking in short drama world, watch with caution or not at all
Bae Suzy cannot act. Girl gives nothing. Just beauty shots. Every time I see one of her shows which is hyped up…
This one I think played to her strengths the character itself doesn’t know/feel emotions like other people do. She gets more expressive when this changes like at the very end. But her acting has always been hit or miss for me. Woobin in ep 11 though, was just heart ache for me, no tears but definitely just outshines Suzy here
I was like 'what? are they allergic to kiss?' whenever I saw the main couple. But I saw the actress is actually…
Same I was like just give me one sweet kiss. Since there’s a time jump and we don’t really get to see the in between progression of them meeting again in the hospital to like full on married life. Maybe like when then found each other again or when he was saying goodbye. But I get it if that was respected actors choice. The range of emotions though at those last few turning points when the game ended.
Probably one of my favorite reborn to fix a past mistake vertical dramas I’ve seen. Well executed in the fact scenes had a nice pace, you didn’t get lost as to what was going on.
Not bad, not great, but for a vertical drama that I always have no experience on, not bad. Maybe I’m just a sucker for this type of darker plot. Will have to watch the other versions and compare.
