If anything watch it for the kisses 😅. For me it was The flow of the drama. It seems more jumpy then some verticals but no super bad if you can get over that part. But yes a sadder ending

It’s only 8 episodes long so I might as well finish it. The writing and pacing of the story might have faired better if they were going to do a regular length drama. Specially when you have that many characters to focus on, a what seems to be an interesting history/lore for them, an different relationship dynamics for all those characters

Two main criticisms is that some parts felt a little jumpy, as in the flow from scene to scene some parts felt like you missed a line or two. But I’ve seen more jumpy vertical dramas and ones that flowed much better.
My second is more a personal preference but wished there was a little bit more of a happier ending. Like there was time for him to get out at the end instead of just sit there 🤷🏻‍♀️
but overall it was good for a vertical drama in my opinion. Ma xiao yu of course was great and so was out FL. Intimate scenes were also great, maybe up there with some of the best from Ma xiao yu

Pitiful depending on your take, probably, only ML bullies/abuses her. And she kinda lets him cause 1. Her son needs the medication and then 2. She used to love him when they were younger but she was pretty much forced to marry his older sibling. So in that sense yeah she’s probably considered weak.

Despite being a vertical drama and having its own set of flaws. It’s got one of the only leads I’ve seen actually be kind a smart in a final confrontation and actually wear a bullet proof vest.

For a vertical drama I enjoyed it. Plays like a typical verticals drama, very old fashioned lakorn-esk, abuse, etc. so if your not looking for that mine not watch it. But the leads chemistry is nice and acting is good for a vertical. Have been a fan of the actress but our ML definitely stole the show in many of the scenes.
As with many vertical dramas the ending was rushed but at least we got a happy ending with a happy/cute moment unlike some that are open ended or just abruptly stop.

Did we really need the whole amnesia trope at the end. Just give us the actual going after her not the summary and then having them focus on the new business venture, memories intact.

I finished it but I was disappointed that the ex husband arch was so short compared to the rest of it and what the actual summary of the drama was supposed to be about

I tend to rate vertical dramas on their own scale and I actually enjoyed more than I thought and while the end was quick at least it was a happy ending in my book

Yeah I’m pretty sure I can’t remember any other male characters vin for attention of he female lead. But it’s such a short drama and there was enough going on, didn’t really miss it or the drama of having one

I’d say there’s a second female but I wouldn’t really say it’s a triangle in the full out dramatic sense. 2fl still like our main lead but he is very firm and clear with her that he only wants our female lead.

Enjoyed the drama, enjoyed the 2nd half best after male lead got his skill/memories back but the drama as whole was good. Nice to see the male lead in a more green flag role

Won’t spoil, but yes he does get better about a little less than half way through

Same, one of my more entertaining vertical dramas in my personal taste but I needed like 3 extra minutes to have a better ending with our leads together. But can’t complain too much since for a vertical drama ending it was quite good and conclusive. Fast but no stopping half way through and no big opened ended things left on the table.

So I’m assuming that means he is alive in the very last scene. Like as impossible as it may be to survive a collapsing building from being on the roof but okay we’ll just go with it if it means they can find each other again 😅

Good subs, pause to load for a second or two here and there but the subs are translated better than some other versions
