the premise of their love actually weird cause for most the show we see them as siblings.
In this particular one, they took long to explain they weren't siblings. They first let the ML find out. So he starts falling her. Then we are now past episode 20 for the FL to find out. I was hoping the audience would know in the first/second episode. Also the shows synopsis just says siblings fall in love basically 😅
But overall i like that we get to go through how she feels with her.
Get angry when the MeiMei story comes up because the Yining becomes dumb. Why can't she stay away from the Duke? She even goes to sit and chat with him alone 😔 I would be avoiding him and refusing to talk to him alone.
Realistically speaking this drama is cringe because the guys plan to basically harass her until she takes him back. 👀 It's a weird plot line. It should have been a bit more subtle by him just showing her he cares and stuff, not him literally clinging to her by following her everywhere.

it's obvious he knew from the time Fan Xian left for Northern Qi. Them 3 fathers would meet to discuss his trip. Fan Jian was just a great father and I understand why Ye Qingmei chose him to be the father over the other 2.
