- The son-in-law is the boss is a romance miniseries with Ke Chun (as Pei Yan/Hao Yun) and Chai Hui Xin (as Su Ke Ke). This drama might have been meant to be a romantic comedy since it has the clichéd interruptions that ended up been more annoying than funny. The romance is slow burn and. although the leading couple has a few really cute moments together, their romantic scenes lack intimacy and the leading lady seems stiff. Overall, if the viewer is looking for a great romantic story, look somewhere else. This drama has two main leads that are caring and warm but they didn’t get very comfortable with each other.
