-Deeper the Forest, Closer the Deer (2025) is a romance miniseries with Xing Yiling (as Lu Yao) and Biscuit La La (as Lin Xi Tong) in the leading couple’s role. This drama could’ve been better if the cast was better selected. I have not seen the male lead on MDL nor in chinesemov.com so it is possible that he is a new actor. Both leading actors are too stiff and the romantic scenes are not the best; there’s no romantic romantic chemistry and the subtitles are not the best.
