The drama is faulty way too faulty and we're pointing out because we've been watching these typical tvn romcoms…
As long as you like it no issue with watching some unrealistic things I guess (well and if you know how cliche it is). And I'm one of those who can love watching unrealistic romances but not this one apparently. Still, keep enjoying it if you're liking the characters! :)
Okay so, ep 5 finished and... I'm not really a fan? No hard feelings towards everyone who likes it though. I really enjoyed ep 1 when we discovered Sarang's job but after that it became sort of boring? I figured I just can't seem to like GuWon... The guy who is always lost in the world (or out of touch with it) just doesn't do it for me... And I'm feeling alone not liking GuWon while reading the comments so I'm sharing it :') Have fun watching it! :)
I understand what you mean. IO wouldn't say disappointed, but instead I think it's better left unsaid as creating…
I agree that the most confusing part in his character (no matter if I like him or not) is his relationship with ChaYoung. To me, I was seeing it as "he likes her (it doesn't have to be a love interest, just having emotions other than hate) but his goal is more important to him" and that's part of why I'm not fond of the "psychopath" because I was totally okay with a thirst for power and it became "he plays with her to entertain himself" and I feel like it is removing something from the interesting villain he is. It might have been necessary to put a stop to their friendship by burning Geumza plaza, but it didn't have to end as a "well they didn't really have a friendship 'cause he was playing with her"... And I agree he was using it as a cover because it made him looking even more like a naive and kind person. But why would he have to mean he wasn't ever attached to ChaYoung ?
well we know by episode 2 there is something wrong with him by ordering to murder all the researches at the villa,…
Who are the 4 villains again ? The only "well written kind of villain" to me is HanSeo and even if that wasn't the case, HanSeok is the "real big villain they have to fight against" and they decided to make him juste "sick" ? I don't see how it is a great choice, but again, you might like it my opinion doesn't have to be yours but that's mine :')

I'm bothered by the fact he is a psychopath, I'm not saying it came out of nowhere :') Because I don't see how it adds anything good to the plot. But I strongly disagree with one thing. Of course a murderer need to have a character development ! Do you want to watch a serie where the villain is not interesting ? 'Cause I'm with the "a serie needs a good villain to be good" most of the time, and I don't think a psychopath is "a good villain" when he could have been an interesting villain only thirsty for power.

I wasn't really seeing that as an explanation, but I feel like "he wants power" is still better than "he's a psychopath so we can make him do whatever we want", and he would have been a great villain (and of course you don't have to feel the same). Also, I'm not saying it came at of nowhere, just that the fact he is portrayed as one is bothering me because it feels like the easy way to do it :') BUT I would love to hear those arguments to be less disappointed :)
I mean...that is what a psychopath is...no ability to empathize, but i get what you're saying, maybe being more…
I see your point, I just don't really see how a psychopath is less of a cliche :') But I don't know what would have been better between the cliche villain you're describing and this cliche psychopath, so maybe you're right :')
Just finished ep15 : Am I the only one who's disappointed of HanSeok psychopath side ? He was seeking power and was clearly a sociopath (or anything like that, I'm not a psychiatrist :')), but I don't think adding childhood murders was necessary... Like, he's already being humiliated for many episodes, make him stronger to be a real opponent not... that. It seems to me as if the writers decided to make him an awful murderer to avoid developing his character. Now, we're like "yeah he doesn't have any emotions he just wants to kill people because he's quickly upset that explain everything"...
