Do yourself and me a favor and please don't watch this drama. It does a decent job of fooling you into caring…
I didn't mind this drama either until the very end, and I honestly think it could have been decent had it ended with at least SOME sort of closure, but an ending as bad as this one warrants not watching the entire thing in my opinion. It's almost offensive how poorly they carried it out. I surely felt upset enough to feel the need to warn other people about it. :( Really a shame!
Do yourself and me a favor and please don't watch this drama. It does a decent job of fooling you into caring about the story, and then tosses it all away in the very last episode. They establish questions all throughout the series that you're expecting to be answered-- what happened to so-and-so? Did the main cast manage to accomplish this thing that they spent most of the series doing? etc... and then they don't answer anything whatsoever. There is 0 closure, and I'm not even exaggerating. It's not even artsy and open-ended... it's just terrible writing that will leave you feeling more than frustrated.
I watched this hoping to at least see some heart-wrenching, "monstrous-true-nature-vs.-desire-to-be-human" tropes in it, and they didn't even manage to do that well. After about five episodes, none of the important characters really struggle with the negative effects of vampirism; everyone takes a magic pill and is just fine. The drama seems to want to show us that the main character struggles with his humanity, but it's more him telling his girlfriend over and over than the show presenting his real struggles to us which makes it hard to believe it's even really a huge problem. And since nothing is accomplished in the end, it makes it even harder to sympathize with him at all. Why even bother making this a vampire story? Even Twilight did a better job with this, and that's saying something!
If the 20 hours I invested into this drama can at least prevent one other person from making the same mistake, then at least I can find comfort in that fact that one good thing came out of all that time I wasted. Please don't watch this drama.
I don't care about nudity... but is this movie very gory? Like blood and stuff? I have a fear of needles but I keep hearing about how great this movie is and I kinda want to watch it.
I was confused at the end so they finally met again (Kim Nana & Lee Yoon Sung) but his mother and that chubby…
Especially with how gripping this drama was from the beginning, then we get an ending like that? I spent two days straight just watching episodes! I feel jipped somehow. lol
I'm a huge Ouran fan, read the manga, own the anime on DVD and know the story and humor inside out. That being said, I loved this drama. I feel they did a good job of translating it to live action. I adored the way Yusuke Yamamoto played Tamaki; he was perfect. This show was charming in how ridiculous and overacted everything was and I couldn't imagine it being any other way. Although I did wonder how it might seem to someone who had never seen any version of it before, since it gets a bit over-the-top at parts!
Can't tell if I really liked this or not, honestly. It kind of bothered me that the girl never even got a name. The ending was a twist, though, which was pretty awesome.
This was such a beautiful movie. I can't express how much I like it in words. I really want to see the alternate…
I heard the original ending stopped when Suni opened the door, and the alternate ending was the additional two minutes where she meets Cheo-sul again, receives the note from him, and decides to not sell the house.
this film literally took my soul, cradled it gently, and then in the last 30 minutes ripped it to shreds, tossed in on the ground, and STOMPED ON IT REPEATEDLY
