I have no issue w/dropping a drama. After over a decade of watching dramas, I value my time a lot more. When I began I pretty much anything and would push through to the finish even if I disliked it. I don’t feel that obligation anymore. If I don’t like it or am not receptive to it for whatever reason, I cut bait. Maybe I return to it and maybe I don’t. I’m just no longer concerned.
I also tend to not watch many dramas over 30 episodes. You have to be a good production for me to give you that kind of time anymore.
Episode 2 was as charming as the 1st. Amamiya is the soul of compassion and patience. The personalities of all 3 friends is being cemented and I enjoy their dynamic. I love how canned food is a focal point. It has no glamour, but is part of the bar being for everyone. I like how welcoming and egalitarian the space is. Nice use of shelving to showcase the food and to create order and access for our chef. This drama has a bit of the same feel as Midnight Diner.
Just saw the 1st episode. What a lovely drama this is turning out to be. The casting is well done from teen to adult. The drinks, dialogue, lighting, food and atmosphere make this a place I’d wanna hang out in. Can’t wait for the next episode.
