I know many are annoyed at YD for leaving when she has so many people supporting her, and trust me so am I. But you need to understand that not only YD wants her family to be in peace and TK to move on but she doesn't want her baby to go through it all. Especially when the ex-JH does not leave her alone and threatens to take real away. She already lost one she doesn't wanna stress and lose another. She also doesn't want to burden anyone and for her child to grow up and hear all types of bs as well.
I understand the mum was angry because of the baby's lie but now she's just stretching it! Like can't she see that TK is nothing without YD? The longer he isn't with YD the more he will become cold and arrogant and one day will start hating and blaming her for everything. Like now he's just avoiding his mum because he knows once he gets into an argument with her he won't be able to stop himself from being rude. Also, does the mum have no patience? If she wants her son to move on from YD and the baby, she should give space and as much time as possible, and not throw a tantrum every time YD is mentioned and not force blind dates on him when he isn't ready. Like, imagine he just said yes to one of the blind dates like he did to SJ in the beginning just to have a loveless marriage. Then the mum wouldn't be able to forgive herself for the rest of her life for not only separating TK and YD but also forcing TK into a relationship. Also, why does she keep SJ around for? It's so obvious that she's still stuck on TK. Like even the grandma doesn't give 2 cents about SJ.
The actors are 14 years apart, I'm not sure an extra 2-4 years (to mimic the drama age gap) would make that much…
I mean it could depending on their quality of life. The mother is a senior physio and the daughter is in police so seems their quality of life wasn't bad. But after watching the first 2 eps every character they meet for the first time assumes they are sisters so i guess the appearance is fine since that was their goal.
I dont get how the ex is even the 2ML. Like all he ever does is whine about getting cheated (basically his pride and ego being broken) when he is the one that started the cheating game.
I know everyone is saying TKs mum is overdoing it and she experienced the same thing from her MIL so how can she treat YD so badly? I agree with that. The only reason I can think of why TKs mum reacted the way she did was that when she and the stepdad got married at that time TK was preteen and the stepdad already had 3 kids older and younger than TK and he was married before but his wife died so he remarried TKs, mum. But TK on the other hand is different. He has the looks, the height, the money, the job, and the family, he has everything someone would wish for in their partner and he could pull anyone. So why is he going through the trouble of wanting a single mother whose baby isn't his?
Apart from this point, I do agree that TKs mum is going overboard with the whole situation. The mum needs to understand that TK is better with YD. Without YD he will become cold and arrogant again and the family members will stop being nice to him as well if he carries on like this.
The mother and daughter look like they are only a few years apart and might as well be sisters. No offense to the actual actor's appearances but they do not seem like a mother-and-daughter duo. And I know they are only 11 years apart since the mother had her in high school but I still feel like appearance wise they should have looked for someone younger or older for each of the roles.
