BEST COMEDY SHOW OF THE ERA
Oh my.....
I just finished this and I just...
I just...
I'm blank.
I don't believe in perfection, but this series was P E R F E C T I O N <3 And I will tell you why in this essay ๐
Every scene in this show felt so thoughful and important! I had to literally rewatch the episode the moment I finish watching it in worry that I missed something!
The absolute BEST parts:
-How focused it was on the main characters: Now, don't get me wrong, I love all the multicouple shows in Thai BL world. But lately, I feel like some characters and couples are just thrown in there with absolutely too much focus on them, that it takes away from the main couple. I literally had to drop some series because the main couple's storyline suddenly became so unimportant or uninteresting as compared to the second leads. Now this, this series was PERFECTION IN THIS! ABSOLUTE GOLD! Each episode was about THEM! Their own stories were going on (e.g., Peach and his lovely orphanage, Thee's struggles of wanting a normal life like having Mok be his friend rather than his bodyguard), and their worlds were then interwoven so DARN BEAUTIFULLY! They had adult problems going on, and they handled them like adults and I love them for it! The other characters were shown just enough that I FRICKING FELL FOR EACH OF THEM TOO! Like Note being the one to bust Peach and Thee? Puh-lease. Peak comedy. Aran and Tawan's random love-hate relationship? I don't even need to know what happened in their life because I know enough, and I love them (Tawan still a little sus though). MOK AND ROME????? GET THEM A SPIN OFF LIKE YESTERDAY!!! I loved each charcater, because it always somehow came back to Peach and Thee <3
-The plot: Okay, is it just me or was every show starting to have the same storyline? Random action scenes, a killer, and a back-stabbing best friend ๐ฌ I really thought it was going to be one of those when I started this. THANK GOODNESS IT WASN'T! The plot is basically 'how to make a guy fall in love with you in 30 seconds or less,' and the steps include: be a charming gentleman (even if you're in the mafia), become his family by caring for his darn family (or like pretty much adopting them), and follow every comedic or flirty line with the most seriously romantic shit known to mankind. And get him body soap named after his name for extra points. Viola, you're married ๐คฉ Like.... I didn't even know I needed this kinda plot in my life till I had this plot in my life. Again, I love how it was just 10 episodes of Thee wooing peach, and each character learning about themselves. No extreme drama, no toxicity between the male leads, and goodness, I've replayed episode 4 and 5 on repeat like daily. Mostly for Thee's glasses look, Mok singing, MokRome, and Peach allowing himself to be taken care of for once. It really made me believe that if you love hard enough, everything just falls into place. That's literally what this felt like. And damn, Thee calming down Shohei with his iconic one liner made me scream in glee. Like wth I couldn't even hate the one "evil" guy in this. I hated Wavid more than him (no offence to the actor who played him) ๐
Humour: Like, when I say I haven't laughed this much for a show, I mean it. Even the darn music had me rolling on the floor at 3am. Like....I can't even with it. And the fact that they KEPT UP with it! Like humour wasn't just an add-on only to be thrown under the rug after episode 3 or 4. No, this was a PURE, COMEDIC, GOLD BULLDOZER OF A MASTERPIECE! Best comedy show of the ERA! P.S. the humour of the last 10 minutes of this show needs to be studied. I literally believed for a moment that Mr. Thee bought GMMT(HEE)V ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ (Actually had to AI search it like Thee to confirm)
Some more iconic things:
-Comedy? Best I've seen recently.
-Music? Perfection. (Like, finally someone understands how music can make a comedy scene 9000 times funnier!)
-Cinematogrophy? Beautiful.
-Sets: I believed the entire Lee empire exists in real life, ok?
-Casting/Acting? 100000/10.
-Thee's moments of seriousness? I cry.
-Peach's hairflip? Call an ambulance for me.
-Toxic Tawan? Eh. He was still hot.
-Note finding out about Peach and Thee? I literally peed my pants. Don't know why I find this man hilarious in everything he has ever been in.
-Plub being babied and helping her brothers (Rome and Thee included) with their loves? My inner child screamed in glee for her.
-Thee and Peach becoming husbands and dads in one day? Okay, guess I'll die of an emotional overload heart attack!
-Est as bodyguard (with a forbidden love trope)? I didn't know I needed this to live until I saw it.
-Every single person's hair in this. Like, the hairstylists need a raise like yesterday (shoutout to the blue hues in Thee's hair, Mok' comma look, Ms. Nat's iconic headpieces, and Peach's floofy bedhead hair)
Overall, this has been such a perfect blend of maturity and comedy! Peach's backstory, Thee's struggles of wanting to live a normal life. Even the side couple's struggles like Aran trying to leave a toxic relationship, and Mok and Rome's tension between the difference in their roles, everything was done PERFECTLY! We got to explore so many different worlds in this! Every character was hilarious and also made me cry at least once in the show!
I was so sad when I started watching this as it was airing cause waiting for every Saturday was a pain, but we got through it! I wish I recorded my reactions every episode because dang, they were loaded! Now I'm sad that I don't have this to look forward to on my Saturdays ๐ข
Now I'm just waiting to buy an Arseni perfume. And waiting to see what this new GMMT(HEE)V owner has to offer ๐ค
P.S. Episode 5 when Peach is just listening to Thee's nonsense confirmed it's PeachThee ok?

PREPARE TO LAUGH YOUR BUTT OFF AND CRY A RIVER AT THE SAME TIME ?
Oh. Em. Geee.......I can't believe how fast this time has gone by ๐ญ What a beautiful universe of stories ๐ Finally a series that had me crying, laughing, and finding such warmth in characters again ๐งก This was so beautifully done so far because of how natural the characters felt!
I personally think this show would have done insanely better with each of these being stand alone shows part of the same universe! Mainly because that would've given them more time to delve deeper into the stories and honeslty felt like I was watching different shows with each of the stories being so different anyways. The cinematography was also different for each of them, so it really felt like separate shows! But I'm not part of the executives team who make these decisions so who am I to say anything amirite? Plus, if that happened, who knows if we'd even get to all of these stories cause we all know the pain of waiting YEARS for shows like this to come out, only to be cancelled after like 5 years of waiting ๐ญ So yes, it was crammed and it felt like some stories needed more time, but I'm glad we actually got it nonetheless!
Here's my 2 cents on each of the stories so far:
HillTer: I do not for the life of me understand the hate this story got. I thought it was cute, lighthearted, and gave a great intro to the rest of the characters! I also think it was one of the more funnier stories in the show. The story itself was so darn cute and nostalgic! Like don't we all wish our first crushes turned out like this??? Ter being so low self esteem that he didn't think a guy like Hill would like him was too relatable ๐ฅน I just wanted to give the kid a hug the whole time ๐งก It overall was such a cute watch!
JoNorth: Okay, like most people, I got into the show because of them! Super hot chemistry, and North was such a refreshing lead it was insane! Hot take though, I didn't find the story all too appealing. It seemed so forced to me from Jo's part for some reason, and something about Jo's character screamed ENTITLED to me. His character just wasn't my cup of tea. They totally gave alpha and beta vibes though so that was cute asf ๐ What got me through it was most definitely North's character, the humor, and JoNorth's chemistryyyyy โค๏ธ
TonfahTyphoon: OMG adorable BABIES. LIKE HOW CAN SOMEONE BE THIS CUTE???? I was really looking forward to their story becuase of all the hints we get from season 1, and I will say, I was not disappointed! Typhoon literally SLAYED his role โจ๏ธ I have cried and laughed throughout the story with this guy, like genuinely felt his pain ๐ญ The angst was killing me, and I could not wait to know what turn the story took next! P.S. The scene between Phoon, Ter, North, and Dao when they listen to him tell his story was so precious! I think everyone deserves friends like this โค๏ธ
ArthitDao: Okay, I am genuinely crazy about this couple. HOLY SHAT their chemistry was CHEMISTRYING. Like... I literally have no words for them. They played their characters so well and with so much depth and I so wished they had more screentime! I also love how Dao is so sweet with everyone, but really made Arthit work for him ๐คฃ I think one part that didn't make sense to me in the story was how they kinda forgot about Dao's ghost-ability part. Like, what happened to Emma?? Did I miss something? Did I sleep through an episode? Cause they had some explaining to do! But everything is forgivable for me in their part simply because of how Arthit holds Dao's hands. Like do you understand how precious that is?? Dao is an ARTIST for F's sake and Arthit holds his hands like they're made of GOLD ๐ญ I'm never getting over this couple.
I have not seen TigerNao yet, obviously because it ain't out yet, but I already have some comments. I honestly think it is so hard to watch them as a part of the Fourever You universe because they were barely present in any of it! Like, they should have called Five-ever you, not Four-ever you (lame joke but it relates to the point ๐ญ)! The only downside I picture with this is I'm going to desperately miss the rest of the gang, which I felt was the most important part of this show. I really hope they end their season with all of them in a scenario cause otherwise, the point of the show would seem useless. I want to clarify that this is NOTHING against anyone in the show, just my two cents on it. I will absolutely watch this and probably love it just as much as the rest, and will add to my review after! But I can't help but feel like something will always feel missing if the show doesn't end with all of them together in some way!
Overall, so so so much love for this show! Was it perfect? Absolutely not. But it made me feel so insanely happy, sad to the point of grieving with them, and also made a whole zoo in my stomach because of the chemistry with some of the characters โค๏ธ The friendships in this were beautiful and each charcter had something important to them. Won't be getting out of this one for a while ๐ญ
P.S. 10/10 for the humor, cast, and stories in this show. Again, not perfect, but so so so nostalgic for some reason โค๏ธ

SO SO SO SO SO SO GOOD!!!!
DAYYUUUUMMMM..... They really ate with this one.Cast/Characters: First off, I cannot express how damn REFRESHING the main leads were!!! Like holy shat they baked a cake a and served with this (whatever that means ๐)! They were such cat and dog energy and I was living for it โค๏ธ Thit holding Dao's hand and the little kisses, like omfg now THAT was FIRE CHEMISTRY ALRIGHT??!!! I cannot even express in words how much I loved them. They both have such sweet hearts that it's lovely to see them find each other ๐ซ My favorite part was how Dao brings the calm in Thit's life and how Thit brings the chaos in Dao's! I loved that both of them just MOLD so well with each other, without changing their personalities ๐ฅน It seriously left me with the warm and fuzzies ๐ซ Both Ngern and Oat absolutely S L A Y E D their roles, like I can't even imagine anyone else playing them, and I need to see them in more things like yesterday ๐๐๐
Story: I honestly felt like I was just watching chapters of their life playing out, while imaging their past and future. Like seriously, everything was written so well! Kudos to the writers of the book and the show! So beautifully written ๐ป The only very miniscule thing I did not like was how much of the screen time was given to the MeenDo story in the beginning. It was a great story and added a lot of depth, but I just wish Arthit and Dao were more present together that time, since it already felt like 8 eps was so little for them.
Other things: I genuinely love these kinda slow burn stories so I LOVE how much time was given to both of these characters to figure out what they truly feel for the other ๐งก๐งก And finally, the damn art was GORGEOUS in the entire show! So so so pretty ๐
Overall: I am so depressed that it has come to an end. Like literally crying in the club right now (as I listen to 'On my shoulder.'
