Office love slice of life
Tbh I truly enjoy watching Wang KaiMu works, he brings a refreshing side to all his works.This might feel slow pace in the short drama genre, since it's the secretary that it's finally not in love with the CEO for a change.
But that's what's refreshing, because not all relationships need to be full of passion, some just need to be built with time and constantly. Also not all first love are earth grounding moments, but sometimes they need to be just memories and not something worth revisiting.

Slice of life, 2nd chance of love
I actually really enjoyed every single minute of this short drama. Not every single short drama needs to be fast and swept you of your feet or needs to be a recycle story.A FL that knows when to give in and push forward, who was badly hurt and trustworthy in love and that is afraid to be hurt once again and a guy who finally gets to experience what is that someone makes ripples on your heart. Is definitely a slow burn but worth it.
The beauty of this story it is that it gives you a completely banal and plausible story that could happen anywhere and still capture your attention.
If you don't like slow burn, regular every other day slice of life office stories, this is not your cup of tea. But if you are like me that enjoy fluffy, feel good dramas, with no green tea and scheming villains, this is your story.

Slice of life drama done right
I usually rate Vertical on their own scale, but this one really drew me in and deserves the rating.Just a good heartfelt slice of life, super green flag guy, it's so refreshing to see one of this short dramas where the scenes fill a purpose and the problems the FL encounter were necessary for her personal growth.
Strong acting by both leads. Highly recommended. The 3hrs kinda flew by tbh
