Although she later on revealed him as she really didn't want to keep the bride from the truth. The ML really played an important role here by showing her the right path and restoring her dignity which was ruined by her ex. And hiding from parents, it's particularly because of his father's leg disability and she doesn't want to worry her parents. And actually in real life too we tend to hide things which we can solve ourselves. And if time passes and we can't, we generally tell them, just like she did. It isn't wrong in any sense. For the bestie part, already her best friend suffered in the VR game and the other day that jerk came down to target her shop. Hu Xiu didn't want Zhao to again knock heads with that jerk, hence moved away herself. Though this part could have been elaborated more in the drama, by having ML there and giving him some punchs the time when he came to the shop at night. Anyways, not being a defender her, but that's how I interpret her character.

This is true for all of Chen Xing Xu's drama.His aloof and domineering character is what makes repeating his dramas worthwhile and interesting. + For this drama and Fall in love too a lot of characters and places are their, so yeah it makes them interesting again.

They did the same thing in Love on the turquoise land. I am really hating this strategy. First quickly show till the heart-breaking part and then keep at turtle's pace to just keep the audience waiting.

Wait and then binge watch. I say this coz I regret watching ep 15&16 today. First of all the starting minutes of ep 15 were all wasted with that 2nd couple coz I really was getting bored with them and particularly had predicted what would happen the moment the Chi Xin character was introduced. Then it was Pei Xun coming in. And then, finally the leads but then there heart-broken part. And so I particularly would watch now directly on Saturday 17,18,19&20 and not tomorrow.

So true, Mam. It's always them you know diverting. BTW if you notice Wang Guang Ming, he is the one in BINARY LOVE. Idk why but he always appears to me drowsy and like he has never had a good sleep. Idk why but I just feel like this. Anyways he was atleast better in BINARY LOVE, but here his character is really off. And the bestfriend too.

When I first saw the photos of CXX as in the Republican era, i thought maybe it's a sequel of FALL IN LOVE, turns out its another drama. The best thing about CXX is his style and persona which is unique and never changes, in each drama of him. And that's what I really like about him. And Yu Xiao as always, a cute personality like in TIME AND HIM ARE JUST RIGHT. The acting is mind blowing. And if you notice the Hotel, it quite seems a lot like the dance hall in FALL IN LOVE. About the story, it's nice and well-plotted. CXX dramas are always engaging. And Yu Xiao is no less. Love the drama and all the actors too. The Pei character however is quite mysterious till now (ep 6). Just wanted to know from the novel readers, it's a happy ending, right ?

I also think but I think he becomes the one who attacks Chen fu in ep28 trailer coz just like sun zhou, the driver, he must also retain some of his humanity and kind of helps the hunters, i believe, that's why NJL was looking at him as if she knew him. (Just my guess)

The episodes are getting shorter and many scenes are being cut, all because of censorship or the editing team as been said by people in the comments. I just want to know what exactly is the censorship? the govt or the production or company forcing them to cut scenes? just wanted to know........
