Oh...I was thought that drama LCY was cruel before. So, the novel LCY is more cruel? I can't wait to see...too bad I can't find english translation for Eastern Palace 😭

Yeah. I prefer that drama adaption do some changes too. But didn't expect that they'd go this far to change whole generation. That's good too cuz I won't get spoiled even if I read novel first. For the male lead part, that's ok with me even if they use novel version. People praise for their excellent acting to previous villain male leads too. Like CXX from Goodbye my princess. WD from Bloody Romance WH from Journey of flower and so on.

While waiting for the new episode, I went to read the novel. The novel is really upside down from the drama adaption. While the drama is tends to rom-comedy, the novel is really angst. The male lead was totally a jerk rather than a protagonist in first chapters. I think the censorship doesn't approve of portraying evil husband and that's why the script was totally deleted the main essence of the novel; the 'Angst' part. I'm gonna keep up with the drama which is really sweet and funny. I'll go for the novel too which give me different vibe.

Yeah. Actually, it's kind of good they changed a bit from the novel. So, we don't get spoiled even after reading the novel too. I'm also just about to start the drama ^^

Yeah. Since both are from different novels, the story line will be different too. What makes me misunderstand is the characters settings; the great xianxia master ml, the fl with ominous fate, caring demon master and of cuz the title etc etc. But those are before I watched. Once watched, the relationship are diff tone than HQG.

I'm not a fan of HQG too. I did have high expectations for it before release but really upset after a few episodes.

I think I might binge watch Chongzi once it end but not sure yet. Cuz i want to see character development on FL during 3 arc.

Well, in Chongzi the ML is really warm to FL. Jeremy is really good at romancing plots (esp in, Be My Princess) but too bad the editors are evils one here. And the script team too. GAHHHH.....

This drama reminds me of The Journey of Flower (Hua Qian Gu) back in 2015. To the point makes me think that this is the remake version for 2022. But when I check, not only the novel but also the production team are not related even a bit.
Back in the days, I watched HQG for the story line they introduced in the trailer and of cuz also for Zhao Li Ying. Well, I couldn't end it cuz the script and cut scenes are a big turn-off for me. Maybe there's romance, maybe it's too slow. I couldn't even finish the 1st arc. I still love the OST though...

I started watching Chongzi for Yang Chao Yue. I was expecting for her next drama Love You Seven Times by JLFX. But for the same reason as HQG, i might can't end Chongzi as well. I can't even reach to end the 1st arc for this one yet.

I admit that I didn't have much hope for this one at first. But I fell in love at first sight with this drama once I start watching ep 1. Just like I felt for Eternal Love back in 2017. It's been a long time I lost that feeling.
