I was disappointed with The Blue Whisper and Immortal Samsara series but I'm hoping this doesn't.
They did have potential. I did have high hope for those as well. But yes, I can't feel anything even the story reach the Peak moments. Feels like lack of chemistry. Those were such a good stories and really pitiful it turns out that way. 😢

He wants to overthrow TTJ by taking his beloved as hostage. Since, he's not sure who's more important for TTJ heart, he takes both girls as hostage. This is the novel synopsis with the scene. (Btw, I don't see any cast for Eighth prince in drama. So, it could be TTML appearing again for this role.)

Bai Lu is really superb in acting. I start to know her in UL where her role as a general. Then as a demon lord in TL and I thought like "OMG! She's so cool". And I started follow her previous works and knows that she's not just cool but really excellent in her acting. The main reason I hype for this drama is also for Bai Lu and of cuz LYX too. Yeah. No rush at all. And that's what I want to praised the script team too. They follow the story and didn't add boring filler scenes as well. In my eyes, 2nd FL is really selfish. She'll even betray anyone even including her lover if it's benefits for her. But she can tricks everyone like she's the innocent and graceful lady in the other people's vision.
