Genuinely I get what you mean. Because if they showed us them being friends for a few years and then Jaepil finally starting to have feelings for Yeongrye but suppressing them and then to NOW with Jonghyun coming back and Jaepil sees his interested in Yeongrye and he’s jealous it would probably be a lot easier for people to ship them. I guess with me I’m thinking okay they’ve been friends for a long time they both have feelings for one another but doesn’t know how the other person feels at all so it’s scary to confess your feelings to a friend and then be rejected ? their friendship would probably be very awkward or they probably don’t want to ruin the friendship either I guess? but his mum saying he should hold onto her before someone else does because when we will he find another girl like her + other men being interested he’s realising just maybe he should take the risk? his feelings for her probably haven’t been platonic for a long time and he did say he thought she was cute and quirky on their first double date. but again I get you it would have been nice to acc see that switch

honestly I see both sides it would have been nice to see them going from friends to close friends to having feelings for one another but to me as well it still works he’s having to rethink his feelings because his mum and sangcheol are questioning him and he’s starting to feel jealous. like it’s not that much of a shock that they’re friends still especially because they like a big group of friends and before sangcheol showed his interest Jaepil did say he found her cute and quirky so I get what you mean

honestly I get what you mean it would have been nice to see a bit more of a transition from them going to friends - best friends and then having reciprocated feelings

Omg that is such a good point I know a lot of people ship them ( I like both ships and I’m happy either way) but hes literally been abroad for 7 years why do people think she’s going to magically grow feelings for jonghyun when she now has a very close friendship with jaepil. Not only have they been best friends for 7 years but their families are very close and they have the same friends. Yeongrye seems to be someone whose feelings don’t change very easily so we’ll have to wait and see 😭

I have a feeling when Jonghee and Jaepil reunite yeongrye will immediately think they’ll want to rekindle but I think it will be a misunderstanding or something maybe ? Like I think Jaepil really likes Yeongrye they’re so close I can’t imagine him changing his feelings so fast? He deffo already looks conflicted and maybe it could be cause he used to like her friend years ago or maybe it’s because him and Yeongrye are so close and so are their families and he doesn’t want to ruin the bond they have ? Even if Jonghee and Jaepil talk things out I think they’ll quickly realise they’ve both changed. Anyway regardless I want Yeongrye to be happy and go after what she wants and tbh I really think Jonghee wants the same thing.
Also I really like Jonghyun but I can’t see Yeongrye viewing him romantically unfortunately😭. I do hope that yeongsik and Jonghee could still be a thing 🤭
But seeing everyone together made me soooo happy they’re like one big family and it’s so nice that they still live together and they all help raise Jeongbums daughter 😭
Lastly Dami and Namjuns chemistry was sooooo good I loved all their scenes, especially seeing Jaepil being jealous but I do love how forward Jonghyun is even if Yeongrye doesn’t take any notice lmfao

I could deffo see my self giving it a very high rating but it all depends on the ending 😭

MDL need to change how we rate shows like we should only be able to rate when it’s finished airing

100% it’s deffo an 8.5. but if love triangles aren’t your thing why even rate the show or watch it that’s so immature what’s wrong with people
