It was so nice to FINALLY see more of NJ so we could start to understand and like her more, maybe not as a love…
Also I feel like yeonsoo seeing Woong with NJ would have probably made her shut down even more and refuse to open up but thank god they’re going to be stuck with each other for 3 days it’s going to hard not to confront one another. I’m so excited for ep8!
It was so nice to FINALLY see more of NJ so we could start to understand and like her more, maybe not as a love interest but definitely as a character.
I saw some people saying "they will probably date someone else" i don't think that will happen, Wooshik said that…
I agree 100%. ‘Soulmates’ like Wooshik said. I understand why so many people think they might not end up together because of differences, which is very realistic, and nothing has been resolved yet but we are only on episode 6 I feel like they’re supposed to grow together as people and then as a couple.
After seeing the preview of episode 6 i really do think Yeonsu is imagining her grandma. Whenever yeonsu is having a tough time her grandma usually appears as someone she can take comfort in and to confide in. In ep5 it felt like she was giving advice to herself.
(SPOILERS FOR MOVIE THE MOVIE SECRET).
Also in the Taiwanese movie secret, which I’m pretty sure ep5 is named after, correct me if I’m wrong but the female lead doesn’t actually exist.
WOW, episode 5 has definitely been the best episode so far.
The pacing of the episode was nice and use of flashbacks throughout the episode has been my favourite so far. I really loved gaining insight on jiwoong I think he might be my favourite character. Watching the relationship through his perspective was refreshing and unbiased. He’s a character who has a lot of empathy and therefore can relate to yeonsu and woong and I see the similarities that he has with yeonsu and woong. Also it was nice to see yeonsu opening up and actually seeing her emotions and how she feels about woong, her trying to convince herself that she went to visit woong because it’s her ‘job’ and not because she cares for him was cute. She’s becoming more and more human. AND THE LAST SCENE OMG I DID NOT EXPECT THAT IT CAME OUT OF NOWHERE EXCITED FOR TOMORROW!!!!!!
At first I thought there was miscommunication in their relationship and that’s why it didn’t work along with having opposite personalities. But from episode 4 we can see there’s no communication at all. Woong expresses his emotions openly and let’s everyone know how he’s feeling, while Yeon soo shys away from expressing her emotions and lets everyone believe that nothing ever phases her, that’s she’s always okay when in reality she’s hurting just as much as Woong. But because they lack communication Woong never understood where he went wrong in the relationship, he’s also simple and can’t really read between the lines that maybe there was something wrong, making Yeon soo appear cold and indifferent about the break up. Which makes me question how oblivious he really is considering he knows there’s a softer caring side to her. Yet Ji woong through his observing sees how Yeon soo really feels and how harmful Woong’s words are. I’m really excited to see more of their relationship through Yeon soos eyes and also understand her character more. Although we can already see that the loss of her parents and growing up poor has affected her. ALSO THE THEORY ABOUT HER GRANDMA SHOOK!
