This is exactly how I view kdramas!!!

Hahaha I’m just impatient.

But honestly I loved the emotions in the scene because it’s literally her job to watch over him sleep but him personally asking her to stay just hit a little different. It felt more personal and romantic, they’re growing closer and closer. Him asking her to stay didnt just mean stay with me it meant so many other things. This drama is making it into my favourites!!!

THANK YOU! Don’t get me wrong I liked shin won in the beginning because he was so cute but she’s not interested and that’s that you can’t force someone to like you or hope that eventually they’ll catch feelings it’s so unnatural. I wish they would write sml or sfl differently. There’s no sympathy for these characters they honestly just feel like selfish stalkers. Like if you really loved that person you would take their feelings into consideration a lot more.
But in a way I guess we are shown the difference between loving someone and then lust/infatuation, which is what a lot of secondary characters have.
I don’t know if you’ve ever watched love alarm but sunoh was the absolute worse I was so baffled as to how people liked him or shipped him with jojo.

I think when I watch a kdrama I always watch it with the point of view of the female lead and what she wants and So rang absolutely wants the king and therefore I want her to be happy with the king!!!

Anyone else sad after Heon asked So rang to stay with him and then it just CUT. Smh

I deffo get where you’re coming from but also it would be difficult to add any comedy to an episode like this so it’s understandable. Hopefully next episode the light hearted quirky comedy will be back. So rang has been kidnapped she’s deffo the sort of character that will make light of this situation given her personality.

If you’re watching on viki it comes out a day later sadly.

I agree it’s hard to feel bad when she’s already rejected him so many times and he can see it with his own eyes. I guess he feels like she’s his because of how they were supposed to be married. Sml 9 times out of 10 end up being selfish and have questionable behaviour.

I just finished it was so good. Although this show is obviously a comedy which I love. I really enjoyed how serious it was and how close Heon and So rang are getting and like you said the progression of the storyline in terms of the king finding out who has been killing women over the last 7 years.

The king doing everything he can to protect and find So rang were my favourite parts of the show. I’m just excited to admit his romantic feelings to her!!!

Yessss and then when the Queen Mother went to visit that evil step mother and she meets the younger sister pretending to be hyun sun and talks about her and looks at her as if she will be the next queen when in reality the real hyun sun will be the next queen 🤣

I agree he deffo has feelings for So rang already but he has an overwhelming feeling of guilt and regret. Guilty about her death or guilty about him moving on. I feel bad for him honestly.
And it’s deffo another reason as to why he warned Shin won away from So rang because his feelings have already developed but he wants to solve the death of the princess and the other women because he has regrets about not being able to protect the princess and then also he probably doesn’t want So rang to end up the same way.

ONE more thing but I absolutely love all the foreshadowing about the king and So rang ending up together

I know we are almost only half way through the show but I’m genuinely intrigued as to how and when the king will come to terms with his feelings for So rang. I feel like he already has them but I think because he has so many emotions toward So rang and the dead princess it’s all too much for him. I just wonder what will be the catalyst!!!

I feel like because shin won can clearly see so rang doesn’t see him as anything more than a friend I hope he moves on. He can also quite clearly see that she has feelings for the king. I really like Shin won and I want him to find someone else.

I definitely have sls but I dunno the main couple is giving me all the feels all the butterflies everything!! Lee Heon is deffo my favourite.

Wow this kdrama is acc amazing!!!!! It’s so funny and romantic 🫶🏾. If it continues to be this good it will deffo be one my favourites 🤞🏾

Does anyone know why the episode isn’t up on viki yet?

Ngl when I first heard about this show I really wanted to watch it but at the back of my mind I couldn’t stop thinking about how her deception is HUGE and when all of that gets revealed it will be so messy. But I started it anyway. I really enjoyed the editing of the first episode and So Rangs character is likeable, despite the lie. But something about the first episode wasn’t drawing me in enough. BUT episode 2 was amazing!!!! The pacing of the story is a lot better and the seriousness to light heartedness ratio is great.


Also at first I thought I was going to have serious sls especially in the first half of the second episode. But after finishing the episode Lee Heon is definitely my favourite. I also think it’s nice to see that although So Rang is lying she’s also trying to help Lee Heon with his eating, sleeping and excerise. You can also tell that having to lie to Lee Heo isn’t necessarily something she enjoys doing. Probably because she can see how much the princesses death has effected him and of course she’s catching feelings .
