I’ve been scrolling through the comments, and one thing is clear—some of y’all are really shallow watchers. The discourse is actually insane. The way some of you expect to be spoon-fed every single detail in a show is baffling.

First, when it came to the FB arc, the complaint was that there was no depth in their story. Now, you’re given a more complex storyline with Perth and Santa, and suddenly, it’s a problem because you can’t seem to interpret a layered character like Gun beyond his cheerful persona—which is clearly a mask for his trauma.

I won’t even get into the direction and continuity because, well, it’s GMM—we know what to expect. But I also understand that not everyone has experienced trauma, so they might not recognize how it manifests. Still, dismissing how a character processes it is mind-blowing.

And let’s be clear—if you’re coming for Santa’s acting, I’m disregarding your entire opinion. He has RANGE and isn’t one-dimensional, which isn’t something you see often in BL actors. Maybe check out his previous work before making baseless claims.

I loved FB’s story, and I’m absolutely loving Perth and Santa’s dynamic. Definitely my favorite trope this year.

And one last thing—if the show isn’t for you, just drop it.

so this ain't it. this really ain't it. idk when will perth get to act with someone who is actually a good actor,…
The minute you brought up Santa’s acting, your whole argument just turned into a rant. If there’s anyone who should be partnered with Perth, it’s definitely Santa, because their acting styles align so well. Honestly, I’m not a fan of the direction or how the scenes transition, but Perth and Santa’s performances are really the saving grace for everything else. The problem with people watching shows on a surface level is that they miss a lot of the symbolism and the nuances. If you think Gun is childish, then I think we’re watching two completely different shows. Gun is clearly masking his trauma and using a cheerful, avoidant demeanor in many situations. Not everything in a show needs to be spoon-fed to you—where’s the fun in that? Also, Gun is a freshman, around 18 or 19 years old—how else would a teenager act? Some of these shallow critiques are really killing me. But hey, if it’s not your thing, you can always drop the show.

6 epis in I'm rlly struggling to see what the hype is about and Idk if I can even continue this cause it's mindnumbing…
There are 3 main couple- each getting 8 episodes. For ArcArm(FB) it’s more of a romcom. You could probably try PerthSanta part that’s currently airing, it’s starts at ep 9. Their story is more angsty & a little bit compelex. AouBoom are the also the 2nd couple here.
