I'm really struggling with this arc, to be honest. I'm not sure if it's just boring or if I’m not feeling the chemistry, especially with Mark’s acting. They’re getting to know each other, but I don’t feel any emotions or excitement from his side. Even the friendships in this arc don’t seem as strong as in others. Their story feels authentic, but there's just a disconnect for me, and it's frustrating because Junior is my bias, and I love his acting. Honestly, it might be Director New messing things up. But I’ll push through and keep watching because I really like Ju.
i agree, i was also expecting a bit more faifahwine scenes in this ep. i didn't mind about the arcarm scenes,…
I honestly just need more FaifaWine because I’m worried that New will mishandle Faifa’s trauma the same way he did with YothaGun. There were too many unnecessary side plots, and in the end, he magically “cured” Gun’s years of trauma with a hug in less than 10 minutes—be for real. That time could have been used to truly explore their trauma and the healing process. So yeah, just keep the necessary characters who are directly connected to their arc, which, in my opinion, should ONLY be YothaGun.
As for Mark, I agree—I need more than just one expression, buddy. But I think this episode established that he’s heartbroken, so maybe that’s why.
Seriously!! The ones i care the most are there, BounPrem and Santa, i only hope that Boun has a final voice there…
I really hope he doesn’t, because even with a great script and incredible actors like BP and Santa, he can still mess things up badly with his directing. Honestly, I think he should only take on one or two series a year. Last year, he directed three, and now he’s doing another three this year—that’s why there are so many mistakes. As a director, you’re also a creative, and your mind needs time to rest in order to fully absorb the script and properly guide the actors. Jumping from one project to another isn’t ideal. He’s already a well-established director; he should slow down. He’ll never be out of work.
This episode was a mixed bag for me—about 50/50. I get that it’s a transitional episode, so a lot had to be done, but it felt way too short and overcrowded with couples. I understand why YothaGun needs to be in it—they’re in the FaifaWine novel? Right? Also, Yotha is Faifa’s brother & Wines mentor while Gun is one of Faifa’s best friends. Their presence makes sense. But ArcArm and PondSand? Why? Their stories feel completely disjointed from everything else. It makes zero sense. I see right through Director Siwaj’s strategy—cramming multiple couples into one episode just to boost numbers and views. But is that really necessary? Why not just focus on making a genuinely good show? If a show is good, it will sell itself. Take YothaGun, for example. At first, a lot of people weren’t interested in them—episode 8 had over 1 million views, but when their arc started in episode 9, it dropped to 500K. Yet, because they’re amazing actors, they completely shocked everyone and became really successful. They carried their story, despite a weak script and poor direction. But even then, their trauma wasn’t handled well—it was rushed, tied up with a neat bow, and brushed aside. I just hope New doesn’t ruin FaifaWine’s arc. He needs to cut out unnecessary storylines and focus on what truly matters. Honestly, if he keeps making the same mistakes, guys might drop the show entirely and I don’t want that cause I really like Junior. As for Mark, I’m still not convinced by his acting. But since it’s only the first episode of this arc, I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt.
New’s next project is Revamp, and I’m really worried because he keeps repeating the same mistakes. We Are, Forever You, P10L—like, come on Siwaj!!!
FaifaWine is starting this Sunday, and while I prefer to hold off on forming opinions until I’ve actually watched something, I can’t deny I’m feeling a little nervous. YothaGun, despite some missteps under New’s direction, has been the most successful and well-received arc in terms of trends, engagement, and numbers. Following that up is bound to put a lot of pressure on both FaifaWine and its audience.
I just hope people approach this story with an open mind rather than constantly comparing it to previous arcs. I really like Junior—he’s charming and a talented actor. As for Mark, I’m a bit skeptical. His acting has felt a little stiff in his previous show, though that could have been due to the character he played. Hopefully, he proves me wrong.
Regardless, I’m in this for the long haul—all 24 episodes.
Santa Pongsapak looks worse? Really? People can lie through their teeth, it's almost funny. If you're going to…
You do know that worse is literally the comparative form of bad, so I don’t see your point. Also, where exactly did I insult you? Pointing out a lie isn’t an insult. You called me obsessed, but I was just sharing my opinion—just like you’re sharing yours. Comprehension is key. Relax
I'm on episode 14 now and I have to admit that I'm disappointed. Maybe it was because I had too high expectations…
Santa Pongsapak looks worse? Really? People can lie through their teeth, it's almost funny. If you're going to lie, at least make it believable. It's fine if you don’t like someone, but making up ridiculous reasons to justify it is just insane.
You're a simp, judging a person through the screen, you wouldn't opine that if you knew him personally.
Hellooo! This is a free space—if I'm jobless, then why the hell are you wasting your time commenting on MDL??? Mmh?? I guess we are all clowns🤡. You should learn to form a proper English sentence before you speak to me, and maybe crack open a damn dictionary to finally understand what "simp" means, since you're clearly too dense. As for your baseless opinion, IDGAF. Done w/you!!!
You're a simp, judging a person through the screen, you wouldn't opine that if you knew him personally.
Don’t give them any attention. They’re in every comment section, relentlessly hating on Santa. I doubt they’ve even watched the show. Any mention of Santa, and they’re right there spewing negativity and calling people simps for praising him. In short, they’re just a bitter hater!
he made so much plastic surgery that I don't know if he still has expressions
Lmao, y’all are truly insufferable, and the hate is on overdrive. PS has been getting a lot of attention, and it’s clearly eating you up. Since you can’t attack Santa’s talent, visuals, or electric chemistry with Perth, you’ve resorted to spewing pure nonsense. Be careful, or the jealousy might just choke you… Now breathe in and out and take a chill pill. Stay tuned like always🤪
I will just wait for love you teacher kissing scenes because that one trailer kiss was way better than stupid…
I've noticed that when New directs kissing or NC scenes, the angles feel off, and the overpowering music doesn’t help. But credit to PS for delivering the tension in that NC scene. Like I said before, PerthSanta’s acting really saved this arc—if it were different actors, who knows how it would’ve turned out.
Can’t wait for Love You, Teacher! Glad it’s not an adaptation, and with Director Dom writing the script from scratch, there’s a lot to look forward to.
I'm sorry but how does "I don't know" mean "yes"??!!!! Also the words, "Who even asks something like this?" I…
One thing about GMM is that they don’t really care about scripts, which can be so frustrating. They have great actors but sometimes pair them with weak writing. Since this is based on an old book, I wish they’d change a few things—but overthinking it will only lead to more frustration.
Episode 15— I can’t believe we only have one more episode left! 😭😭
I just have to take a moment to praise Santa’s acting because, truly, he is phenomenal. His ability to convey emotions through his expressions is nothing short of remarkable—every scene is brought to life with such depth and precision. It’s all in the details of his face, and wow, just WOW 👏👏. Kudos to Perth and Santa for their incredible performances!
This episode was filled with so many kisses 😚💋, and honestly, I’m kicking my feet in pure excitement 🤭🤭! And those last five minutes? Absolutely breathtaking—I’m MELTING 🫠🫠🫠.
If I had one critique, it would be for Director New 🎬. I feel like Gun’s journey in overcoming his trauma was a bit rushed. I get that with only eight episodes, they had to wrap things up efficiently, but I wish we had a little more time to explore the depth of his struggles. Earlier scenes and his dialogue after his mask was removed hinted at something more profound than just a fear of the dark. A bit more expansion would have made his story hit even harder 💔.
That being said, Perth and Santa completely captivate me 💖. It’s been a long time since I’ve fallen this hard for actors who not only do their jobs but truly EMBODY their characters, breathing life into the script with such sincerity 🎭. The last time I felt this way was with Up and Poom in My Stand-In.
Now, I’m eagerly anticipating Love You, Teacher and fully aboard the PerthSanta ship 🚢💘!
Perth santa are really good actors individually but the way as couple their acting explodes like you have to watch…
Their next show, Love You, Teacher, will be written and directed by P’ Dom, who is absolutely amazing. It’s a complex story that explores age regression and mental health, which are really heavy topics to tackle. Really hoping the director does a fantastic job with it!
i feel a big part of the problem (imo) is we're not actually seeing him put in any effort. it's the same cycle…
I get where you’re coming from, but I think the key issue here is that healing isn’t linear, and just because Yotha acknowledges his trauma doesn’t mean he immediately knows how to navigate it. Recognizing a problem is one thing—actually changing deeply ingrained behaviors is another.
From an outside perspective, it might seem like he’s going in circles, but that’s often how real-life healing works. People revert to old patterns even when they want to change because those patterns are familiar and, in some ways, feel safe. Yotha is stuck in that push-and-pull because he’s still figuring out how to process love and emotional vulnerability. His actions—flirting, then pulling away—are messy, yes, but they’re also realistic for someone who’s emotionally conflicted.
It’s not that he’s putting in zero effort; it’s that his way of processing is slow and unclear, even to himself. He’s not yet at the point where he can fully express or understand his feelings, and expecting him to do so quickly ignores how difficult unlearning emotional defenses can be.
Messy? Absolutely. Frustrating? For sure. But that’s kind of the point—growth isn’t always obvious, and it’s rarely neat.
It’s frustrating to see surface-level analysis from some viewers. I’m not sure if it’s a lack of comprehension or something else, but I’ve noticed complaints about why Yotha is still the way he is, even after his conversation with Gun. Others say he didn’t explain the kiss properly to him either. Let’s break it down: we know Yotha is carrying deep-seated trauma from years of pain, whether it’s from his family or past relationships, right? So why is there this expectation that he’d suddenly overcome all of that just because he opened up to Gun? Let’s be realistic—healing from trauma doesn’t happen overnight. Simply acknowledging it or talking about it doesn’t mean it’s resolved. It takes time, effort, and yes, baby steps. Healing is not a straight path. You’ll have setbacks and moments where old coping mechanisms resurface. That’s just how the process works. I appreciate that the YothaGun story is being handled authentically, showing that change is gradual and messy. Even with therapy, progress is slow and requires patience. I saw someone comment that the story feels baseless because “Yotha is still the same.” Of course he is! He’s still working through his pain. These things take time. Let’s remember that we often ask for complex, realistic shows, yet when we’re given one, some people seem unwilling or unable to grasp it. OR better yet lack the depth to comprehend such stories. Healing, therapy, love, happiness—none of these happen instantly. Baby steps, everyone, baby steps.
Episode 14 had me feeling so many emotions! First of all, Perth and Santa continue to prove why they are absolute powerhouses. Their acting is so effortless, their chemistry is chef’s kiss 💋, and the tension? Oh my—off the charts! 🔥 I can finally admit it: I’ve officially boarded the PerthSanta ship, my first-ever ship, and I am obsessed!
Now, onto the episode itself. The moment Gun said he’d be okay if the answer was no, I knew he was only trying to convince himself. Deep down, he knew it would hurt like hell—and as the episode unfolded, his changing mood made that heartbreak painfully obvious. I appreciate Yotha’s honesty, but telling Gun he’s free to leave if he finds someone else? That felt like a dagger straight to my heart 💔. And that scene where they sat together, crying? Absolutely gut-wrenching 😭. Perth and Santa’s ability to portray raw emotion is just phenomenal.
As for Klao and Warich, they remain walking red flags🚩🚩no one can convince me otherwise. Their dynamic is undeniably toxic, but there’s an intensity between them that neither seems willing to let go of. Maybe they know they’re bad for each other, but they thrive in it? In a twisted way, they might just deserve each other.
On a brighter note, Yotha and Gun are finally becoming a couple next week! 🎉 I was expecting fluff this episode, but instead, my heart shattered over and over again 💀. Huge props to the actors for delivering such emotionally charged performances.
Criticism: Director New’s scene transitions feel jarring and disjointed. The storytelling would flow much better with smoother editing.
PerthSanta absolutely nailed this episode! The acting was phenomenal—the emotions, expressions, and tone were all top-tier.
That said, I think the reason Gun didn’t bring up the kiss between Yotha and Wa is because he feels he doesn’t have the right to. There’s clearly something going on between Gun and Yotha, but their relationship hasn’t been defined yet—they’re not officially together. So, Gun doesn’t know how to question him about it. It’s not that he necessarily “forgave” Yotha; he just doesn’t feel he has the right to demand an explanation.
PerthSanta’s chemistry and talent are undeniable. And as for Klao and Wa—two walking red flags right there. Also, Yotha really needs to learn how to apologize properly. A kiss is not an apology!
There are 3 main couple- each getting 8 episodes. For ArcArm(FB) it’s more of a romcom. You could probably try…
So that scene was in the future. YothaGun are already in their 2nd year when Mark/ Wine joins Uni & the P10L. Mark’s story will start on ep 17. In PerthSanta’s story, Mark is still in high school. 2nd couple for PS story is AouBoom.
As for Mark, I agree—I need more than just one expression, buddy. But I think this episode established that he’s heartbroken, so maybe that’s why.
