I haven’t read the novel or watched much of the trailers. Do you think she is really being given second chance to live or like the drama “Scent of Time” where in the end she just being in coma, looked after by Fu Jiu?

The side crews also make a huge difference, I love Wanyi’s sidekick in Are You the One, v funny guy. Second fav is the Rise of Ning, lastly Si Jin -even though I like the FL in The Legend of Zhuohua

He makes more impression on Are You the One, my first fav show of this ML

Exactly, from what I read all these comments NO ONE criticise or has any issue with her crying over her best friend’s death, BUT attn is too much going to her friend than her own husband. But many twisting the whole comments into she is not allowed to mourn over her best friend.

Also if you grow up with loving mum& dad, CYY & JZ’s children may not be as scheming as the parents because they will be well protected. I read the novel briefly, didn’t like it one bit. The novel is abt JZ re-birth, she was married without feeling to CYY but pinning for XuanQing before, XuanQing is CYY’s son, CYY also has 3 other concubines (if I’m not wrong). I didn’t like the novel so dropped it. Also CYY hardly shows up in novel, esp at beginning. The drama is way better than novel version.

True! Then when he collapsed, she can automatically hold him and moved her full attn to hubby - perfect LOL. Look at us trying to recreate the scenes

Yup that’s it! Being a married woman myself watching that scene I can’t help but sigh at the scriptwriter

Hahaha there are a few weird scripts like that, the other one is when she cried for extended period of time for Ye, I totally understand they are bestie but being a newly married (&supposedly in love couple) you would prioritise your collapsing, exhausted hubby from war over bestie. When I saw the scene I am no longer in tears but giggling.
However most dramas have some quirks like this, eg in POJ (which is a great show), the moment Changyu doing extended group gathering / crying over Mandi in the middle of messy war and managed not to get stabbed by all these surroundings are a bit unreal.
