rewatch value? absolutely a 10! Don't ask, I am seeing the last episodes as slowly as I can. Some people complain about the slow burn romance but in this series I absolutely love it. First because each of them has to overcome their difficulties of the past. Second they have to learn from the beginning what love it really is. Third when you have found your soulmate you have to pass many tests in order to stand beside him/her.Fourth, you can not force love and you have to stand up for your principles, and no giving up 'cause you are feeling self-misery and make every one looking down on you. So I much enjoyed this series for a) the inspiration for women globally b) for mutual respect and dignity between a destined couple c) lets admit it, it was fun too! d) I have a crush for the emperor!
Kudos to all the production team, I am really looking forward for part 2 ( I wish it was today!)

I haven't read Joy of life, actually it is quite long above 300 chapters, but it is captivating :) By the way there is another novel I read there and I totally enjoy it and waiting its series. It is called the Spring Banquet (look for it ) :)

I suppose 'cause this series is sensational and some can't bear others success.

In novel is way different, actually in novel it was bought and gifted to her by her father (he was the one who gave her the dowry after all) I recommend you read it, it is actually quite different from the series, u can find it in mydramanovel.com

the word 'cunning' has definitely found its new masters in those two protagonists! I absolutely adore this couple and the series, hope this part 1 ends good !

well Blossoming Love is a different kind, it is a xianxia series , immortals, heroes and so on. Like it too but I like more Flourish Peony for its realistic point of view, 'cause in the real world only humans can save themselves and others too. Also every human has his own personality, complex emotions, virtues and flaws. That is what make every one of us unique and truly real :) It is true that fairy tales can help us travel into imagination and dreams and I really love this 'escape', but when I see something that it can truly be aspiring, I also love it.

it is really pity that this series has this rate. It deserves a much higher rate. Kudos to the excellent actors (really love the FL and ML (such a naughty man!) and the girls company) and the production team. It is one of my favorite series in historical, much realistic dramas

I really like wuxia and xianxia series but I will never deny a good historical drama, reality hits home they say. All the episodes I have seen so far they are really to the point. Kudos! So far so excellent

All in all a very good series, kudos to the production team and of course the actors. A 10 from me because I really loved all the scenario and the exploration of the brocade industry back then. The FL nailed the role, and I really like the ML in all series I have seen him.

I swear if anyone else dies from poison till the end of the year I will beat senseless the director :P Enough is enough with poisons! I will become Juliet who will haunt all the Romeo of the world :P

I really love the exploration of "new worlds and new civilizations" concept, and I think this series truly dig into this. Also the whole set about dyes and fabrics and the whole beginning industry of clothing has intrigued me. I won't deny the fact that the strong females of the series make me cheer for them, all in all a very good series in production, directing and of course acting. Kudos guys, you deserve a higher rate!

What a roll coaster series. Kudos to the actors (nailed it each and every one of them), the production team and the director. Lin Xin Ze (sorry if i spelled it wrong) is a favorite actor, have seen him in various series, Brocade Odyssey, Melody of Golden Age, the Double ( absolutely fantastic series!), Destined, the Blood of Youth. He nailed every role!

the 17h episode was a rage!!! truly love this series and most of all the actors! the emotion, the cleverness and the empathy and of course romance is all there! Hope truly for a happy ending for all the acting couples!

I really like the female lead actor, I have seen her in 'Royal Rumors', excellent actor. So far so good this series, good plot (not original but good) and I like all the cast, the male lead actor is gooood!

Liu Yu Ning's best acting so far for me, he is perfect, and Zhao Lu Shi is a star! Actually the whole acting team is superb. I really like the realistic concept of a hard to live era (well I suppose all eras are hard to live for mere mortal!) Kudos guys!

Amazing series, awesome actors, scenery, ost! Kudos to all the production, I really enjoyed this series, a 10 from me (if it was a higher rate I would give it) !
