I really enjoyed it! Bon appetite to everyone! Excellent cast, the protagonists nailed , story, directing, acting and... yummy dishes! So a ten from me. Thank you for the series.
I have no words for the outstanding acting of Liu Yuning and Li Yi Tong! I loved this series, it had everything. I have to congratulate all the actors, they were superb! Kudos to the director, and to all production team, the scenery, the costumes, the songs and the feeling was ...superb! The people behind the scenes makes what we see real! Also I really loved the intro song! Way to go, team of a Dream within a Dream!
Kudos to all the cast, is a wonderful story and Liu Yuning once again proves himself as an outstanding actor ! Li Yi Tong is exceptional actress, beautiful, and very expressional ! But I really love all the cast and the scenario. So, Bravo to all the production team!
This is just disappointing and bad. So tired of watching this ml. Sry dropped.
I am glad that you are the minority, of course everyone has a right to his/her opinion. So the rest of us we will just enjoy this without ...interruption :P Have fun with another series, I hope!
Well, I have to speculate about the behind the curtains mastermind. So far we have the emperor, the 18th prince, the General Chu and the the 7th Prince. But my mind keeps wandering a little bit further, not too much, but just a notch. First, it can't be the 17h Prince 'cause when the incident with the late empress happened he must have been or an infant or a very young child. Second, the Emperor - still suspicious of him - seemed to be wounded by the death of his beloved and even if he has a motive to destroy the 7h Prince may be he would not do it thru wars and death of innocents, but for me is still a suspect. Third the General seems innocent but he is cunning thru and thru, there are several parts missing from his story, so I cannot exclude him entirely based on his love for the departure empress. Forth, it is obvious that the real culprit is not the 7th prince. I think that does not need an explanation if you have seen the episodes. And finally there is a person who is staying in the background. That is my main suspect. Lord Song, the Minister of War. Just a hunch but I believe he is a character not so simple as he seems!
Good very good! All the actors did a great a job, the directing and the cinematography was excellent. The scenery of Nanwu was very attractive and the last image of Jiang Si's family cooked all together it was just perfect in harmony and emotion, really loved it. Kudos to all the production. A 10 from me because hard work has to be rewarded.
sorry but did fls mother cheated or not just tell me if anyone read the novel
in novel she was not even her real mother, she is been adopted for a very specific reason, but the father and the concubine are terrible and her stepmom anyway she is been dead since the beginning ...the plot is way different
why are all the comments so negative yet the rating is an 8.1
I think that the main reason for the negative comments is the serious deviation from the novel, actually is a very good series just watch it as a 'version' of the novel.
The episodes so far has pleased me very much, I truly appreciate the acting of the protagonists and the second leads acting. The scenery, the outfits and the elegance connects with my taste. Plus I truly admire Zhang Wan Yi from his previous roles. He has that 'poker' face and his expressions when slightly (or not!) change is superb. And Jing Tian is a natural, both beauty and acting!
I am gonna recite a funny moment that repeats itself in the novel...the Emperor has he eyelids twitched and he asks his most trusted eunuch "my eyelid twitches, is it the left for fortune and the right for disaster or the contrary?" and the ever clever eunuch replies with a question "which eyelid your Majesty is twitched ? " hehehe the most brilliant answer/question ever!
