I think they are going all out against netflix..many top stars have done (or have upcoming) projects with disney..hyun bin, jichangwook, iu, sonsukku, bws ,kimdami etc.

It's an adaptation but the director has been given freedom this time and it will be much darker than the movie..also story is not exactly similar don't worry many things will be new
