Yes i know even kate winslet was directed by her then husband with leo as the actor in a movie. It's an asian/korean phenomenon..i have literally seen a popular actor say that he won't allow his wife to do kiss scenes. Anyways no point discussing it i am sure at the end of the day these people are A list actors and won't back out of any scene if the role requires it. The only disadvantage i see is that usually kdrama fans like to root for offscreen romance and see behind the scenes etc. but that won't be possible/weird

Yes i didn't say anything personal it's just that i have watched tons of interviews and korean reality shows and it's common knowledge that their boyfriends/husbands get very jealous and tell them not to do some scenes. I am not saying that will happen but its possible and often happens behind the scenes. I am not making it up it's the truth u can do your own research

Both of them are....in the film i would say nana's character had more presence then sjy character but it's a re interpretation obviously they won't copy paste everything from the film.

Well you have quite a rigid view of "tastefully" 😅, anyways i think it's very unlikely that there will be too much nudity as all these actors are A listers with a strong fan base. Hoping for a tense and exciting series tho

The movie is very explicit i would say... don't know what u mean by "tastefully" but there's ample nudity but done in a sensual way..this is a show about lust and love so i guess no one and come say sex scenes were "unnecessary "

The kdrama fans who haven't seen or heard anything about the original movie or seen any of the previous adaptations will get a huuge shock when this series drops🤣, assuming they keep same level of nudity etc. Somehow i feel the producers won't shy away from it. Maybe this will be like the queen woo but for netflix

Yess you're right...its not based on reality because people dont watch kdramas for reality..its basically an escape mechanism. I am sure 99p girls would like their men to accept all their past actions (good or bad)and kdramas are made majorly from the woman's (unreal) pov..it's the truth i am not making it up

Your question is correct and I'll give a simple answer: kdrama made for tv in korea always show men like this. It's because their primary viewership comes from 30+ aged women and they like men to forgive all their sins and love them unconditionally. It's basically fantasizing. There's no way they'll show women in too much bad light as it will hurt their numbers. It's the truth whether anyone agrees or not
