No i think both facts can be right..gbs prolly topped the charts for some time and light shop had more watchers overall but didn't top the charts. It depends on how the metrics were calculated

Yeah disney is pathetic to me also..but i am not seeing much reaction from jcw or his agency etc. So i am not sure what to think about it. Maybe jcw is happy working with disney, maybe he's not. if not he can definitely go for netflix originals.

I am more concerned that disney has targeted him as an action star and he will be typecasted as an action star (only) permanently atleast for 4,5 years. I think his versatility is one of his greatest strengths and making content for 1 platform is not ideal anyways. After 3 continuous action shows and that too disney original no one can convince me otherwise, they want him to do action only

Nah i have seen tons of edits of his dramas but it's mostly of suspicious partner and healer and sometimes wts. In general kdrama population likes romcom more than anything.

Maybe unpopular opinion but i would LOOVEE to see a spinoff that focuses on the story of the king and queen. Their relationship was so beautiful and tragic

Actually from what i have come to know , in korea he is more popular as a handsome actor and there are lot of preconceived biases like " handsome actors can't act too much" or " good looking idols can't sing " and so on. That's why he wants to break that image. I don't think he cares too much about those shitty awards(except maybe baeksang)and he shouldn't.
