Not hating but i don't understand the casting of GHJ here, obviously she is a good actress but u can't cast just anyone in a romcom with a random story..if the story itself needed/based on middle aged couples then i can understand...people anyways like romcoms with young actors especially if the writing is not very strong and the offscreen chemistry creates the hype(and ratings)

I think 8 eps will be enough for this but depends on writing.

It was a very brave attempt which perhaps needed a slightly better execution...hats off to the cast and entire team because now i realize how difficult it is to break away from the conventional clichéd plots and bring something new and brave to the screens people always dislike changes especially kdrama audience

I think the simplest answer is kdrama viewers before the netflix era were mostly women and all his drama roles were catering to their hidden lust/desires/needs. Otherwise no one can explain his 35 freakin million followers on insta...personally i enjoyed city hunter a lot but rest of his roles nahh, i hv to watch pachinko...his popularity is definitely for his earlier dramas like LOB and he has been very lucky with the female casting

There will be romance but not skinship type...if u r too excited watch the movie i actually liked it, it has steamy scenes but with depth and meaning
