His every carefully made plan gets debunked by this girl 😂 In any other drama, this would’ve been the classic “saved by the man” moment and she’d be all thankful by now, but here even when he saves the day, she doesn’t even know what happened 😭😂 She’s out here saving herself, doesn’t even remember her own orchid talk, while he doesn’t even get any appreciation for the one thing he actually did..🤣 And honestly, it was truly hurtful seeing them both singing side by side when he had been so worried and rushing back just to see her 😭

This was supposed to be just a drama… but why did I end up crying level by level? I cried rivers.
The first moment that broke me was the grandfather’s death. He was her very first supporter in such a restricted family environment. The way he encouraged her and believed in her dreams was so touching. That tree scene where they climbed and talked together stayed with me it was simple, but deeply meaningful.
Then came her father-in-law. He trusted her immensely, supported every idea she had, and never once held her back. In fact, he praised her and became her first real team member in her business journey. That kind of support was beautiful to watch.
And then… Godai.
I ugly cried. Even when the story was moving forward, I couldn’t stop crying whenever he appeared. He was like an angel in her life everything she needed at that time: an unconditional supporter, mentor, advisor, and motivator. He always understood exactly what she needed and gave his best.
At first, I thought he would take her away from her husband. But instead, he accepted her feelings and supported her choice. Even then, his eyes clearly showed his deep, burning love for her. That silent love made his character even more powerful.
What amazed me most was his relationship with her husband. Initially, he judged him, but later understood him and even encouraged him to support her more. I have never seen such a dynamic between a second male lead and the main couple. He was truly one of a kind.
His death hit me so hard. He had so much more to do, and even he believed he wouldn’t die easily but he did. That sense of unfinished purpose was heartbreaking. Seeing the files he carefully prepared and labeled for the future showed how much he still wanted to contribute. After his death, it felt like she lost a part of herself. Even I felt that emptiness deeply.
Then comes Shinjiro.
At first, I was honestly annoyed with him. He seemed carefree, spoiled, and distant. But in the end, he was the reason she became who she was. That first gift the abacus opened her path, and she herself admits that she went beyond limits because of that beginning.
He loved her quietly, without demanding anything. Even knowing another man loved his wife, he remained understanding. That kind of love is rare. His support was always there, even if it was silent. The way he looked at her said everything.
He was such a gentle soul like rain, soft and comforting. I loved him.
Even in his death, he didn’t want to burden her. He hid his illness and continued to comfort her despite his own pain. That rain scene after his death, where he reassures her… it was just beautiful.
I also felt that throughout their life, he followed her without expecting anything in return, even thinking he wasn’t as important to her as her work. But when she finally chose to stay with him after learning about his illness, he realized how much he truly meant to her. That moment was so touching.
The small scenes where he quietly watched her sleep were some of my favorites. His love was always there just not loudly expressed. And she knew it too. She once said no one in the world loved her the way he did. That stayed with me.
Finally, the acting…
It was incredible. They didn’t act, they lived their roles. The small details, the aging, the voice changes, the physical weaknesses everything was portrayed so naturally. Shinjiro’s performance especially stood out. His transformation over time was flawless.
Even the supporting characters played important roles in shaping her journey. Every single one added something meaningful to the story.
This was truly a beautiful story. I’m so glad I watched it.
