Too bad Ms Incognito didn't use VPN :(
Good premise, it could've been a bang on thrilling kdrama of the year but wasted its potential.
✧Storyline:
This drama started with one mood then ventured into different genres to come back again to its initial interest. When I started watching this, the first two episodes were fantastic, but as I proceeded further, the thriller essence of the storyline started fading, and it lost grip of the strong premise. But not long after its disappointment, the story tried hard to win back the thrill and, honestly, it did, but for some it was too late. People had already lost their patience and many dropped it.
✧Acting:
Out of all the characters, the evil stepdaughter, Ga Seong Young, was outstanding. Her cold, murderous gaze was chilling. As her heinous psychotic acts grew nastier, she became more deadly. Other than her, the lawyer and the kindergarten principal gave noteworthy performances. But unfortunately, FL and ML couldn't capture my attention as they should. I ended up fast forwarding many of their scenes as it was getting boring. Some side characters were unnecessary as they wasted a lot of time in them.
I do understand that it was hard to balance the whole structure without a strong base. The base it created was already weak, but I have to admit there were some mind-blowing suspense elements that certainly made my heart beat faster.
Overall, it's definitely watchable, but I wouldn't recommend it as a crisp thriller piece, but if you want to watch it, take the risk!
