There you spilled the fact 👍 I'm totally finding it ridiculous of those who are suddenly shipping Dam & SW just coz of that stupid red thing when in actual they had no specific great interactions so far except her turning him down multiple times. Also, WY isn't human hence he's still unfamiliar with human morals and emotions. But post Dam's entry into his life, he's changing. He has become considerate, caring and would go to any extent to protect her. Their love is supposed to be unconventional and I'm liking how things are not very normal between them. WY is slowly adapting into human way of feeling things. That's the plan of mountain spirit as well. Since there's only few months left until he turns into a maegu, the mountain spirit has to push WY to the point where he would quicken his process of becoming a human.

Actually it's like a task for WY in which he will kinda succeed by transferring the red thread between him & dam. If you noticed one thing from last episode l, WY told Hye Sun that somehow the energy of the bead is increasing that's because he has started having human emotions like love, hunger, sexual desire etc., Now since jealously also will come into the play, the energy of the bead will increase. In webtoon the red thread arc starts, WooDam will spend time & she'll go to the vacation then GW confess but here he already confessed so I believe this red thread arc must be ending by the end of ep 12 mostly.
I really hope they wind up this red string arc soon *eye rolls* I was internally wishing that they would not bring this arc in the drama but they did it anyways. In case you're wondering if dam will also have feelings for SW, she won't.
