Exactly! It's not healthy to channelise her emotions and thoughts in a way that would jeopardize other people. Does she even realise she's just wasting her life away by desperately looking for a cure? I mean I might sound a bit insensitive/callous here but I do have a chronic condition too it's not fatal but quite hard to live with. I was desperately looking for a permanent solution for it and just stopped living my life. Now I've come to accept it and l feel my symptoms are under control and I feel almost normal. Sometimes it's the anxiety that makes everything even worse.
