Idol champ is not necessarily a scamming app. Because many kpop fans actively use it for voting. But yeah they're money mongers who make money out of fans love for celebrities. It's not easy to vote using that app as you need chasims which can be either bought with money or can be earned through playing games. I had chasims saved as I had this app installed since 2019 and was collecting chasims through daily attedance (one of the easiest way to earn chasims). I had accumulated over 6k points. But many people voted by buying chasims and they encouraged all the Luosifens to vote daily. Yeah, ofcourse it would have been a different story had he attended or given his acceptance speech video. Yes, it's definitely a failure. Especially they are aware that fans have spent their time and money to vote for their favourite star. They should let the agency of the artists know.
